Work for Vicki if you progressed that far with her and that'll skip time to evening. Also, can't remember at the moment if you can eat at the pub or not any longer in the afternoon to skip time that way too. <--It's been a 'hot minute' and I have no save at that precarious time available to look at.
Update: Just did a run-through and the only way to skip time at that specific junction is to work for Vicki. Otherwise, you have indeed softlocked your game. If you have a save prior to training with Lara and activating the goblin hunter, use that and avoid training with Lara until you can work for Vicki. Use your cave to pass time until you're set to go.

I have progressed Vicky appearantly too far, cause i used to work for her, but she doesn't appear anymore. So yeah, softlock.

In my haste to speed run the game and check things on my end for you last night, I didn't click the sparkle in the pub at the counter. I literally just went back to that save, clicked on it, and peeled the paint off my wall for forgetting something that I should know better than to forget. Do that and you can skip to evening because I just did. Even I can mess up, so feel free to laugh at my expense. Fairly certain some peeps on Discord who are also on here won't let me live it down for a bit. lol

Not counting my playthrough trying to diagnose his possible softlock...a month or two after 0.19 was released troubleshooting another person's issue via from here or on Discord. Honestly can't remember which one. I pulled it up again in April just to fight Gryx and fully elaborate on how to beat him (not what I would call a playthrough given it's just about how to win a 'boss battle'). Basically, it's been a long time for me actually playing the game itself at specific points and seeing if something is amiss, as a lot of things can be answered and solved without playing. Regardless, still made a blunder by not clicking the sparkle and I'll take the good-natured ribbing.

Unless something has changed, this is essentially abandoned. Not sure why this doesn't have an abandoned tab at this point.
I will be writer of your game. If you are interested in making games. I have lot of idea about goblin story

He put out art so he might be back, maybe. Also from looking at the titles. I am honestly shocked people didn't just abandon ship there. I went to the page and expected maybe a couple subscribers. If it does continue I would think after he gets less busy. Hoping this comes back though, not expecting but looking at the page gives a little hope. Tip if you highlight the title and the comment area you can copy and paste in the search bar and it shows a little more. It only works with subscribe star though. Sometimes helps with context if you want to get info on what's going on.
First he said that he was abandoning the game because his girlfriend didn't liked porn and he was depressed and suicidal. This was back on December/January. Then he returned saying that he wanted to finish the game but for people to not expect frequent updates. And obviously either reopened or he didn't even close his Subscribestar back when he quit as a dev. This was back on April. And looking at his SS, there's only 3 new posts, one in May and two more in August. And he's still getting 300$ more or less.
I don't know, man. Maybe I'm the only idiot in the world that want something in return if I pay for it. I'm not expecting an update every month but he could be more communicative with his subs and even with people not subbed to him to really show that he hasn't quit again. And I say this as someone who used to be subbed to him back in the day. And if he ever read this comment, he will probably complain in his discord or call me an idiot or something like that.

Well if he was suicidal then the lack of updates makes sense but I don't know why he didn't cut off subsribestar when he wanted to quit the game. Can they put a pause on payments in subscribestar? Idk, there might be a reason but I'm missing alot of info.

Very ironic if this is abandoned considering this game was made as a continuation of another abandoned game.
