this jeanne actually looks like she goes outside, 0/10. i don't really care that she's taller, but the fact that she looks like an actual capable and contributing member of society is completely incongruent with her character. make that her aunt or something lmao
The reason why those games get the abandoned tag is because the dev goes radio silent for months. That is not the case here. Snats has released frequent dev logs showing the progress of the update.
Good, it is slightly longer wait but bugger three small updates all over the place when i can just have one bigger one including the whole prologue.
Just to be clear this is just me speculating, he could just release the first part of the prologue on the 31st and then release the rest later.
There's never been an update that's less than like 3 hours long (if you actually read/go through all the scenes). I think sometimes people forget the writing part of this whole mode of media...Can't wait for v0-0-1 to be 20 minutes long, meanwhile he showed off a year worth of 40+ character remakes and 15+ redone locations and a few new which all won't be in the first update
He showed off the redone beach with all the people in it and locations like the sauna etc in June... why is he jumping so far ahead, hope this means all the other updates after the first one will be out real quick
About the update? Not much, the last thing he said on discord about the update was that it was coming out soon and that was like 2 weeks ago.

I think after he posted jeanne's new design and after getting some feedback from the people on discord he ended up changing her design again to look a little more like the old one. I think someone posted a picture in this thread but I am too lazy to find it.
Oh really? All I saw was the poll to change her hair to be similar to the old design, not anything else.

You can criticize something without it being petty. Some people just genuinely prefer Jeanne's old look/vibe. No one's saying the new look isn't good, it just doesn't fit the image of Jeanne from before so something is going to have to be done personality-wise to reconcile the change. Maybe that results in a totally different character, maybe it doesn't. We just have to wait and see how Snat's handled it.
I was referring to all things complained about. Regarding Jeanne, most, including myself, prefer her NEET look though it is the stereotypical one so if she's still a NEET, nothing actually changes to her character as design =/= character.
Yup before she look like a game addict who would sleep deprive her daily and be out of shape as a result. Here she looks completely different to state no one would hand on heart be able to recognise her if they didnt know it was supposed to be her in the new game on sight (though he has tried to mimic the old models hair after feedback as like i said nothing resembles the old model - which looked out of shape, sleep deprived and dishevelled aka a shut in game and porn addict). She alongside the main character are the most radically altered though the MC kinda makes more sense as he was a shota before and the dev unlike Jeanne isnt trying to remodel the old character but create a new one (this one is older, taller and more equipped). Speaking of the MC i even think it was eluded the twin brothers are BOTH still in the game so i suppose we might be able to fuck the old MC haha (other new characters are being added into revamp including the familys father).
New MC makes more sense. He's supposed to be the only 'genuine' man in the world so him no longer looking like a slightly femboy shota is better.
Yea, I think Jonah is supposed to be the character the old MC took over, so now he and Jayden are twins. I like the new MC's look too; he's more like an androgynous playboy type now. Also fits the dual-soul aspect he has being able to traverse between heaven and hell. Definitely looking forward to some twin action, also some vengeful hate-sex with their dad. There's a lot to look forward to with the changes.
