I've only gotten up to Yoona's re-enslavement.
I'm still ill and exhausted, but so far it's not hitting as well as the original path for me.
I'm less interested in the new protagonist so far, he's far too robotic and less interested in the acts of the flesh. He's also in a big position of power, there's less struggle against overwhelming odds. Given that one of my main criticisms was the lack of threat and engagement in the second half of the original route...
Killing of your initially invested main character also makes it even harder to relate, add to that he's a hyper-competent unfeeling robotman with no interest in sex...
The enslavement and corruption is now done in one go, instead of seeing the changes gradually unfold. They're also much more mechanical.
The POV is also less personal, giving you less chances to invest in characters.
I'm predicting I'm not going to enjoy this as much as the original path, or at least haven't been wow'ed by this so far. But We'll see what happens when we get to the planet.
EDIT: Turned it off after Yuria got command and gave the speech, I was just skipping scenes at this point. I'll return to it later, but I have absolutely no interest in how super efficient and cool and awesome the robots are. There's no eroticism, just space battles. There's no intrigue, except the super-slick uberpowerful space inquisitor waltzing into an enemy ship and effortlessly capturing people and easily overruling everyone. Everything that I disliked about the original path got dialed up. So far, it's more of a SCi-Fi novel than a porn game.
