I really hope he hasn't given up on this game like his first one, regardless of the side step with the training school, I would like to see more of Astrids peronality develope on her own.

I hope the queen doesn't become a sex crazy women and she is just sick but dont want others to know about it with the kingdom in a mess this way would open a way for you to get back at the guy or let the kingdom fail and the queen become a slut or you dominate her and make her your sex pet later dont know... anyway nice game waiting for more content for now i like it just because it is a sex game doesn't mean that everyone is an asshole or a sex slut right? good work.
Unfortunately I think this needs an abandoned tag soon... The game was really promising, I'd love to see more but something is telling me that this won't get any more updates

This game is nowhere near of being abandoned at this point. It's just not following monthly updates model. Every update was being released after at least 3 months and since dev explained his reasoning like week ago it's nothing weird that this one might take a bit longer. Since I had contacts with dev I trust him quite a bit. Maybe after half a year without informations this one could be marked as abandoned.
I hope you're right, but considering the last update was in early November it's been almost 4 months now

abandoned is for games that are not in development anymore, this one is clearly being updated, albeit slowly, just have some patience, the next update will come sooner or later, this dev is a great one.

Agreed. Some devs don't put out a drip feed every month or two. For comparison, look at Fountain of Mana. That game gets updated maybe every 6 months or so. The updates, when they happen, are usually pretty beefy and well thought out.
If developing a porn game is someone's full time job, then it should be frequent. But for a lot of these folks it's a hobby, albeit one that may provide a bit of income through something like Patreon.
With this one, I caution patience. I believe an update will come along sooner than later.

Wow, I'm feeling old now. 4 months without an update is abandoned. I remember waiting years for updates on Baldurs Gate mods back in the day, and they were rarely considered abandoned unless the developer disappeared for longer than a year. Then again, no money involved back then so that's a big difference.
When he was updating it was updating pretty frequently for something that's a hobby.

Guys, this dev is fine. DynamiteRed is quite humble and honest, he doesn't charge by month like others and basically said in the last update "I don't have enough time due work and university activities, so this 0.4 will take a while".
I would love to see this update too, but the dev isn't fooling us.

Hey guys, sorry for the long time without a post. So here's what's going on.
Basically, life is kicking my ass right now. It's due to a few different factors, but mainly it's because I'm taking 19 credits in college and working close to full-time.
My schedule has been all kinds of jacked up as a result. I kept meaning to post on here, but when your life consists of Be at school for 5 hours -> Be at work for 9 hours -> Do homework for 2 - 4 hours, you don't have time to really do anything.
I haven't been getting enough sleep, so I'm pretty sure this routine is unhealthy in the long term. A couple weeks ago I requested less hours at work, which is finally starting to take effect in the schedule now. I feel like I have some time to breathe.
No, I'm not giving up on the game or anything like that. I just had to take a bit of a hiatus while I worked out my schedule. When I started this project I knew my schedule was going to be a bit unpredictable, which is why I went with payments per major update.
I refuse to release a half-assed update, so when I get my shit sorted out and finish 0.4 it will be worth the pledge. Sorry for the long wait on this one, I'm just going through a bit of a rough patch at the moment. If only there were more hours in the day ...

Intro
Hey guys! My living hell of a college quarter is coming to an end and I'm getting back into the full swing of things now. Again, apologies for the delay. I got screwed this quarter because I was forced to take classes which are only offered winter quarter in conjunction with high-level courses for my major. The end result was a combination from hell ...
There is one good thing that has come out of this hiatus though - it gave me some time to figure out and plan some new features.
The exhibitionism/clothing system issues
You guys gave me some really good feedback related to the way clothing states and exhibitionism worked. Or rather, how it was confusing, inconsistent, and didn't communicate to you what the requirements were for certain actions such as removing articles of clothing.
Exhibitionism 2.0 - Potential Solutions
I have thought long and hard about the best ways to fix these issues, and I've narrowed them down to four basic solutions:
1. Tie all exhibitionist actions to the Lust stat. While this isn't a terrible idea, I don't like it because it potentially removes the progression. I.e, you play the game for a while doing non-exhibitionist related things that build up your lust, and now all of a sudden Astrid is fine with walking around completely nude. To me it feels like there is a disconnect there, and that it wastes some of the morals corruption potential.
2. Tie all exhibitionism requirements to the Exhibitionist stat, which counts how many exhibitionist actions you have done. This again, while not a terrible idea, runs into some progression issues. For example, let's say Astrid flashes her tits to an old man a few dozen times. All of a sudden her stat is high enough to walk around nude. To me this doesn't make much sense and waters down the corruption progression.
3. Use some sort of hybrid between the two. This would be really complicated and hard to balance correctly.
4. Introduce a new stat which behaves differently, and build the game play around that so it is not affected by the above issues.
Solution 4
It's probably pretty obvious but I've decided to go with option 4. What this means is that I will be making sweeping changes to the clothing and exhibitionism systems, pretty much starting over from scratch. Here is my plan: Introduce a Shame stat that functions similar to the way it worked in my older game Valentina's Story but with improvements and new features.
The system will work as follows:
- Every map has an Environment type, such as outdoors, indoors public, indoors private, etc.
- Each outfit has minimum Shame requirements for each environment type. For example, For Astrid to be naked in her room, she needs say, 90% Shame. But for her to willingly walk outside nude, the requirement will be much lower, say 20%
- The Shame stat itself will have caps on how far it can lower based off the type of action Astrid takes. For example, flashing her breasts will only lower shame to a minimum of say 90%, for example. This will force players to progressively lower their Shame by initiating more and more depraved actions.
- Almost everything will be automated, making it easy for me to tag maps with certain environment types, and outfits with certain Shame requirements. This means it will be much easier for me to add additional free-roam outfits, meaning you won't necessarily be locked to just Astrid's main outfit in the general world.
- If Astrid refuses to wear a certain outfit or enter a certain map, a message will pop up telling you the Shame requirement.
The new outfit system
An unfortunate side-effect of this solution means that I will have to remove most of the individual customization of Astrid's main outfit. Meaning, you won't be able to equip/unequip individual parts. Instead, I will offer a couple different variants, such as "Main outfit without panties". Now before you get mad, realize that the flip side of this change is that like I said, I will allow you to walk around outside in outfits other than the main outfit (specifically which ones I haven't yet determined). In addition, it will make my scene creation process significantly less complicated, and allow me to create some new scenes that would have been really hard otherwise.
A positive side effect of this change is that it makes the world feel more grounded. Since Astrid will have to select an outfit at her wardrobe in the Inn, she will be stuck wearing it out in the world until she returns to change. The older system was going to allow you to change your clothing state at any time, regardless of where Astrid currently was in the world. The new system will allow me to easily create some interesting game-play situations. Say, for example, Astrid gets her underwear or clothes stolen. She will be forced to travel to a wardrobe somewhere in the game world to put her clothes back on.
Visual novel style character images
I'm excited to announce that due to the clothing system changes, I will be writing a new plugin that automatically displays character pop-up images of Astrid in her current outfit, and sometimes NPC's during conversations. You can see a mockup image of what I have planned in the picture above. Each face icon will have it's own rendered character insert for each of Astrid's primary outfits (At the moment so far I have her main, "Valiant Warrior" outfit, underwear, and naked image sets rendered). The system will be automated, and function based off the currently displayed face icon. This means that, other than some individual scene tailoring (I may not want the character images displayed in certain situations), all conversations will include these pop-up character images. The result is that conversations should be a lot more interesting, especially when Astrid is scantily clad
Anyway that's what I have planned. I'm excited because it should allow me to do some sexy things with the new game play mechanics. After all, what's the point of making a game in RPG Maker if you don't try to incorporate any game play? At that point you might as well make a visual novel. Once I get the clothing system working I'll post a teaser showcasing how the wardrobe menu will work. As always, thank you for your support and patience.

Actually its pretty easy to solve the Exhibitionism problem Just make every action doesn't add up to a certain point flash tits does not up Exhibitionism more than 20 points por exemple(astrid Exhibitionism not the flash tits things if she have 21 for exemple doind it would not level up but if she has 19 no matter how many times she have did it before she would get one so this would not pass 20 number do it with every status and you're safe to go.) and you need 18 points to handjob something like that would work easily and would not broke the game, and we woudl not need to wait 6 to one years for him to change things and he could keep working where he is right now and not go back to fix something that is easily to fix.

Thank god he's back. Character's splashes looks great. I wonder if they will change their mimic but I suppose that would add a lot of rendering for every character. Would be cool tho. As for exhibitionism I'm not so sure. I think that current linear system would be great with more content to support it. Linear progression is the most logical one and it might go into a free-mode once we finished given questline. I'm also sad for different parts of clothes. I liked that to be honest. But it sounds like there will be more types of clothes for Astrid and that would be amazing even tho I'm not sure how he would deal with additional renders. All in all I trust this guy and his decisions and can't wait for new update.

I like his ideas, looks like we get more dressing fun with Astrid and he reduces the amount of different renders, so a win-win situation. Too sad we will need to wait a long time until this changes are implemented
