You're not wrong, but a lot of the people in this thread who dislike BD (including myself) are not mad about the game not being good currently, they are mad that the game that used to be good was used by the dev as a platform to rip people off for the better part of two years, all while steadily declining in quality. That's not to say people shouldn't move on and let it go, but generally when people feel betrayed they're going to have a hard time letting go.
If BD stays on track though, the detractors are just gonna go away and he'll continue to generate a new audience of defenders, regardless of the game's quality going forward. You can already see it happening in this thread, tons of people like what he's put out lately. I think it's comically bad, but I'm becoming the minority. I've already said plenty here, is there an actual point to continuing? As long as he continues to actually release content, the answer is no. And even if he goes back to his old ways, at that point he'll just create a new crop of haters to point it out.
As for try to do better, I dunno where OEJ's spite project is at as it's been quiet, but I still think that's a fun idea.

This is how I feel...the update was okay, nothing great...but BD's dev talk at the end was kinda a buzz kill... I ran through this update in less than 30 minutes and if this was the last "long one" the 100 render ones will be redundant to download each week...Even BD is like maybe hold off for a few weeks then play... I kinda wish he just dropped one good size update each month or something instead.

Because she didn't consent to it when you started it. Just because she changed her mind later doesn't mean it didn't start as cheating. Hence, cheating path.

Hi, does choices matter in this game(for exemple if i dont say the correct answer some scenes/path gets locked out) ?
You must be new to this game if you think that waiting for large updates was even an option for this game, as 2020-2022 was a huge clusterfuck of no updates because they were large and “needed to be tweaked” every single time

Err, what happened this update (ep 8)? Wondering if I locked myself out of the new content from past choices or if I'm misremembering where things left off at the end of Ep7 because I'm really not sure what was added here.
