Great update - and what a cliffhanger.
It's so refreshing to play a game with decent (= smart & funny) writing for a change - a department in which so many games are lacking.
But I also like the visuals - they may not seem that great at first (compared to other eye candy games), but the gritty renders fit the apocalyptic theme just perfectly.
Even the absence of widescreen (which initially bothered me a bit) serves a purpose and adds to the claustrophobic atmosphere, where you never know what threat might be lurking in the shadows.
I hope there will be many more chapters to come - and I'm already looking forward to volume 2 with the Hendersons.
Just keep doing what you do @inkalicious - and stay true to your artistic vision.

I knew about the patreon rules but I didn't realize it was so bad that the devs have to deny involvement on a 3rd party site. O guess better safe than sorry. Still this makes much more sense now. I just downloaded it and will try.

Just some quick thoughts on the relationships in the game, and INCEST! (I've talked about this here and on the

, so it'll be brief.)The VN did start as an incest VN, then the Patreon ban hammer came down. I also cannot be associated with any patches etc.
There was an early choose-your-relationship version, but that limited my dialogue options and early testers also hated the input hassle.
I eventually came around to the fact that you can put your own spin on their relationship (if you don't use the patch).
The patch does use the older woman's name here and there. It's deliberate as the younger girl wants to be seen as a peer, not as a child. Well, that's what I'd do.
I've tried to write it so that they've known each other for years and do deeply care for each other. 'Love' is mentioned with or without the patch. Maybe they knew each other before the end of the world? Who knows, but they have been fighting to survive for many years together.
Then the MC gets frisky. His behaviour changed the dynamic and made things more than awkward, but kicking him to the curb is probably a death sentence. Maybe even for the girls, as their numbers would shrink and they've survived so far as a unit.

I may not answer all of the above, but I'll explain a bit more about how it's built (some content in spoilers).Okay renders and characters are really good, story intro in itself is quite good. the story in general and dialoges is mostly green. But critical stuff well 1 i can't tell the difference of what some dialogues if they do much or any real difference, the only real difference is sex/pictures stuff or not sex stuff. Without a walkthrough or point system there's no telling if choice a does anything to choice b or further other than the current choice place. 2 part is atleast 2 choice's are a no win really with the younger female but at same time it doesn tell anything about ending path or points either so no clue what to pick. and also the dl one i got must have been with incest patch of some parts or atleast wrongly written or so because the way its stated/written there is some kind of family relationship with them.. so for now you get a clean 5/10. a walkthrough if the options does some kind of better ending or whatever in future would earn you 1-3 points. cleaning up those dialogues without touching the incest patch would be a 1+ point regardless of walktrhough or not. adding a point system for showing either sex path/paths or Good guy ending path(if there is one) would earn you 4 points, yeah this is the biggest problem as i said fix it please. and walkthrough would only get you +1 then if you make one. I don't see any need for more people in this game yet atleast. But if Mc would find another woman and her existence would make the other 2 girls jelousy then sure but id rather see a point system or walkthrough if there is any difference in the dialogues options. If not then id suggest you remove the options and just make a story without options its an honest review here.and yes you can surpass 10/10 thats the current expectations and if you surpass those expectations i can't see anyway for this game to fail become a real populare game around here and on patreon too.
There is a hidden points system in play and it only relates to the affection of the girls. So paths will seem linear, but their affection level will unlock different visuals, dialogue or a very small scene.
Eventually they will lead to different relationships. Some relationships will be black and white, some will be shades of grey (not related to that terrible shitty book. Fuck that book and its hijacking of a useful phrase.)
Your goal might be to get the girls and survive, but they also have their own ideas and the world is trying to kill you.

There is a walkthrough, but I've kept that for Patrons only. I don't plan to release it, but of course it may end up on here.
I'm also not planning to add an obvious points system, but of course I'm always open to user feedback and preferences.
Just to be clear. For this VN, it's fully written. Completed. The die is cast and your fates are sealed. But how the VN plays can be tweaked.
I think the VN is intuitive to some extent, though I have been pretty brutal in requiring certain stats to unlock image alternatives.
That's the sex. Of course the sex will affect everyone's reactions to events, but there's still a survival story happening. One that may not care who's fucking who.
For the story, some of the decisions you make now won't take affect until much later. My thinking here is that you can't predict how life plays out. It won't be punishing, but it will change your playthrough.

As @Paris/Texas said, I think this might be related to the beginning of the VN, where a name wasn't added. The VN doesn't use default names and there's no code that changes the younger girls dialogue title.

I see, well then since there is an walkthrough and since there is a point system i just din't knew about it i can rate it now a clear 7 perhaps even an 8 or 9 if i did knew how good the walkthrough was ect. For an example i don't truly mind you being (brutal) honestly i like the fact that some parts is even seemingly (un-winnable) like (sister) asking a question on roof, like close her buttons on the shirt, and do or don't you don't really in a way win on it on atleast or atleast it seems so and thats fine with me for real.

They should be finding/making better weapons and reading-up on survival hacks and skills. Finding a map of the city and an old phonebook would be quite helpful instead of blindly searching in circles.

I think they're doing pretty well, but are too reliant on scavenging as they don't have any sustainable options we've seen. Their stores, general health and lack of worry around starving/dying of thirst are the main survival pointers. Any other details will be incidental to the story.
When we join them, they've stripped a radius around them and are now going further afield (mall and warehouse complexes out of town). And yep, we're also seeing that they're kinda creating their own problems and feeling the impact of them. The group is weakening.
The decisions/actions I think you're referring too are also there to speak to character and state of mind. And push the story along. And have some 'doh' moments. Got to have some of them, but not too silly...
