i mean..Zenny says basically go away perv..no sex..next scene..Lena running away because you just had sex with Zenny...thats just really crappy..dont even release an update if you are gonna pull that shit.

If those path where not finished then the game should have ended before the crap was added what you did not do.. like you normally see in other games when their are different paths now it just a clusterfuck of events that never took place.. This is not only killing all immersion but also the game in general.. I also changed mc name to cuck boy instead of Ape..

What pissed me off was the part where i was telling Lena i never cheated on her and really i never did, but the game still made sure i did even though i didn't.. Does that make any sense ?? At the end of previous chapter where you are forced tohave sex with zenny and suddenly everyone is around you including Lena this was the part i decided i will not play this game unless these path get fixed..

The way the story progressing is the story is simply S_H_I_T now.. This story seem to have a Harem tag but how is this going to be harem if all your doing is making sure you never end with harem or even any of the girls ??

Maybe when we get the ending we will get the only one where the storm kills everyone including the mc or mc is the sole survivor.. That would be one big harem no..

Man you are so right and i came here to write a rant about it too, but you beat me to it. I'm really annoyed with that shitty move.

so this "game" bacame a kinetic novel or just a linear VN with a little bit of choices?
How are the choices effect the game?

Yes it is that bad, especially if you tried to dodge everything possible because you are interested in a certain character the game screws you over and says "haha you fucker did this and this" even if you didn't...your choices mean nothing.

it is still a vn with choices...but for two updates..some of the choices are null and void because the dev hasnt gotten around to creating the effects of said choices..so gives you a message that the game will see things as ya boinked everyone anyways and if we want to speed things up to become a patron..lol

Another case of Shadows over Manston: too many choices for the dev to handle, it seems. It wouldn't be as bad — still bad, but not as bad — if he released multiple iterations of the same version (like Chapter 10 v0.1L was Ape staying true to Lena, Chapter 10 v0.2H was Ape cheating with Haley, then Chapter 10 v0.3Z was public sex with Zenny, etc.). Then, at least, the complaints would be about how slow/delayed the updates for certain storylines were. Then, at least, the various branches the dev created would eventually be handled in the game. Now, not only are what are arguably your most important choices ignored, but there's a good chance only one path will ever be finished by the time the game is "completed". Ugh. So annoying.

It's actually laughable that Delia asks you about how loyal you may or may not be and even tests you on it. After the "choices" the game forces on you, how could you possibly come across as having an ounce of loyalty? The game's BS reply by Ape that you're "sampling" to find the "perfect one" is just a joke.

Yep, totally. That's why I said updates focusing on one specific path would still be bad, just not as bad. The only thing that, to me, might help do is to warn you ahead of time. If I knew an update specifically was going to screw things up with Lena, but that a later update was going to have the MC staying faithful, I could just skip the updates until I'm not a total scumbag. It also didn't help that you automatically sleep with Lena earlier. So when I then am forced to cheat on her twice, I'm pretty effing upset. I played multiple paths, so sometimes she wasn't the focus. Now I realize I was just wasting my time.

Tell me about it, I was going the Hailey route, then I load this update to see Lena running away for no reason, only to find out I fucked Zenny who I haven't even touched throughout the game and apparently did it in front of everyone. Then during yoga, Hailey says I'm lying when I say I choose her. WTF creator? You're seriously going to screw your own game over because people aren't paying you to create it? Then why the fuck are you still making updates and trying to continue a story you're apparently miserable making? I mean fuck, I get it, you need to get paid, but how are you going to get more patreons if you fuck over your own game because you're being a per petulant child throwing a hissy fit?

This game is also missing some tags like Horror where your friend is killed.. I know the cop was pervert but he still cool friend to have.

I am sure many wont ever play it again if that did happen, even if he fixed this part in later chapters he already destroyed this by adding this part.. And nothing he does will ever fixed the forced part..

You know what's really funny, the game could have started with mc waking up at the pool if we didn't fuck Zenny, and the creator could have just left out some dialogue if we didn't fuck her. This would have allowed us to continue our path, the creator would have needed to do any extra work, and we wouldn't be so angry about how this game's going.

yeah, that's pretty fucked up. I didn't take the Hildy path myself, but for those who were, it's a major dick move on the developers part.

About G part normally i dont mind that since he seemed harmless even though he knocked mc out at first. but if your not on Hildy path then seeing him and Hildy is not as fucked up but things change if next will be like G and Lena, G and Gynna , G and Zynny or G and clara if mc is on their loyal path..

This changes everything.
