Now that I'm developing Supermodel instead of Long Live the Princess (though LLtP will get a patch), everything feels very different. Considering my priority in these early phases is to perfect the card game part of it as much as I can, most of my time is spent simply playing the game, looking at the data from my playtest, and tweaking based on the results. I almost never did anything like that with LLtP, but Supermodel is forcing me to use an actual spreadsheet to keep track of things.
It's refreshing and fun, and kind of stressful. But that last part is partly due to the game itself, which is very intense. It's incredibly frightening to develop a game like that from scratch since you never know if the ideas in your head will be fun to play until you actually have the game fully implemented in front of you. And sure, I've made changes to the game mechanics since my first playtest. But damn, I'm happy to report that the card game is actually fun to play right now, and that gets me all excited to share the prototype later.
I think a lot of people are going to be pleasantly surprised by this game. The track record for Ren'py card games isn't exactly good, but I'm trying to break free from that and show what Ren'py really can do if you squeeze it.
And for the record, the card game is only a small part of the overall experience of Supermodel. This will still be a full-blown visual novel, and the card game will be optional.

Sounds very exciting. Being a huge fan of Love of Magic, I think card games and AVNs mix just fine.
Though seeing something like that pulled off with Ren Py would be a neat trick.

After Replayed a few times, I finally managed to get True love at the end.
I'm not going to spoil the whole thing.
But I managed to knock; Selena and Lilith, Thorn and Nell.

Nice job! For my next challenge I might try to get True Love and Allfather in the same vanilla playthrough with a good ending. It seems possible if my theory is correct, but it may not be.
It is possible. I got that combination during my own testing. One of the changes I made in 1.0.0 was specifically to enable this result.

How do you seduce Lilith though, after revealing her dark secret, she is no longer accessible for interaction. Also, I cannot find the actions for making Callie familier with her new sexuality

I'm guessing for this combo Nell has to be the Love interest? I have tried six ways to Sunday and found no way to knock her up without the romance. Damn Fey blood.

Congrats on finishing the game, Belle! I really loved it. The level of quality and polish is super impressive, the writing is excellent and the gameplay really compelling.
There was one thing that bothered me a bit. Yeah, I know, it's hypocritical to make moral objections to other details in a game where you play as a serial rapist, but I thought the racial stuff (The Fomorians, portrayed here as Black, being a cursed race or nation, roleplaying master/slave with Samarra, Nell's Korean-looking features being because her mother was not human) was… iffy. I see that this was discussed before, and I'm glad to see that you denounce racism (glad but not surprised, since—these tropes aside—you write Nell and Samarra as sensitively and respectfully as any of the other characters), but I can't say I find your response wholly persuasive: Yeah, the game is set in a fantasy world, but it's made and played by people in our world, and the meanings and interpretations of details like this are going to resonate with reality.
I have no wish to get into a protracted argument, so maybe just take it as another person noting it as a concern.

I'm curious: So if the Patreon version is incest-free, are Lilith and Selena not sisters there? What's the excuse given for MC and Evelyn sharing a room? And what about Evelyn's Dark Secret?
Also, does anyone happen to know what the "That's not supposed to happen, is it?" Secret Achievement is and how to get it?

well lilith and serena can be sisters since patreon's no incest applies to mc and his or her family. evelyn is just roomie on fucked up version (as some name patreon versions) and dark secret is just her parents not mc's.

How do you get that ending, I've tried multiple times, however it keeps breaking nell's heart however I do it.
Also, Is there a way to extract the BGMs for this game? the choice of music is ridiculously amazing for a H game, something which I plan to keep i my playlist. especially the lilith and evelyn ones.
Lastly, Thank you so much for creating this masterpiece, It has to be the best if not one of the best games I've played. I started for the fap but stayed for the story.

Yeah, I agree. The music selections are really great. And that choir bit that plays at solemn moments (like the Seamus Heaney quote at the very start) borrows the brilliant synth riff from "Blade Runner End Titles" by Vangelis.

So on Patreon, to overcome Evelyn's deep-seated taboo against sleeping with her roommate, you have to convince her that incest has an upside? Makes sense.
Glad we get the unfucked version.(I suspect that in actuality, Belle has rewritten Evelyn's motivation so it makes more sense than that in the Patreon version.)
