Having a different preference or perspective is hardly being a troll. The guy who you replied to has Jill and Maya at the bottom of his preference. You have Jill near the top. Maya is my 3rd favorite while Jill is not only dead last in my BaDIK list, beating Zoey, Jade and Bella, but also in my top 5 of least liked characters I've ever encountered in a VN so far.

Despite her fugly face I could still stand her if it wasn't for her personality. Take the events immediately after she takes him in when MC is jumped by Chad. The way she dismisses her privileged life right after the MC shares his dad's struggles while raising him with little to no money. I mean wtf. How callous and insensitive can someone be? And then ofc ratting out Chad when my MC confided in her and made it clear he didn't want her to snitch. Trust was utterly broken at that moment. She didn't give a fuck about him or his feelings and wishes. She is self-absorbed, self-righteous, arrogant and borderline mean when shit doesn't go her way. I get a sense of absolute fakeness everytime she says a word. You want a clearer display of selfishness than her attitude when MC says he has to bail on their date to take care of an ill friend? You are entitled to your opinion about Jill. however you cannot dimiss that of others when there are dozens of examples in the first 8 chapters that paint Jill in a VERY bad light. To me she is despicable and I want nothing to do with her.

If you go back to the scene, you may find the mc only asked her not to call an ambulance (because he didn’t have the money or insurance to cover it, and she offers to pay but he still declines), and when she mentions counsellors he just shrugs it off. The next morning he finds out she’s organised the session. As annoyed as he is, and as annoyed as I would have been, turns out that was the right action. Funny that.

And the picnic? She didn’t dump the mc because he turned down her picnic. Turning down her picnic meant a series of events that would have further deepen their relationship did not take place. That’s not the same thing as "You chose Sage over me, you’re dumped!"

And if Jill didn’t feel the relationship was right for her, totally legit for her to break it off.

My biggest gripe with her is that when she does break it off with the mc, she does it publicly in a restaurant. Tybalt deserved it, and if the mc had been fucking other girls left and right, then he also deserved it, but the loyal, blue-balled mc, he didn’t deserve that. A more private breakup would have been better, like when the mc dumps her on the "dumping bench" (not to be confused with all the other benches in the game).

Still, none of that makes her "VERY bad".

Or worse, she knows she can't compete with Jill and cuts her loses.

Quinn doesn’t want to be hurt so she puts the walls up again. Same as she acts like he meant nothing to her when she find out he and Sage are serious. She’s just trying to hide her insecurity.

Mostly, if you fail to go to the picnic, you will miss the most important "puzzle piece" = what links MC's past with Jill's (Jill's house & the photo in Lynette's diary). One of the most important story details.

I don't use this game as fap material. I think it's at a superior level of most of the games here and, although I like the lewd scenes, I play it mostly because of the characters, the scenes, the humor and some subplots. That's why I am more critic with some aspects of this game than with others of this site that are just fap material and I don't even bother in reading all the text. But I can understand that some people uses it as fap material, and if that's the motivation of the preference of some people for Maya and Josy, It's not my thing, but I can totally understand it too, for sure.
