i did not get that scene with riona
You need to be on the Others branch and take the DIK choice when Riona makes a move on MC in Chapter 9. That makes you eligible for a date with her in Chapter 10, and a followup at the party.

The first eight episodes were a tug-of-war between Tremolo and each woman. Each provided a challenge that had to be overcome and outsmarted in various ways, whether by throupling MJ and keeping it secret or playing coy with Jill whilst running Bella down the "we're just friends" route until there were actual feelings. You cared about each woman and wanted to see how those relationships would change and grow.

But now it feels like DPC is the victim of his own perfection. He's spent so much time perfecting his women over those first eight episodes that he's grown bored of them. The relationships took few, if any, steps forward over the last two chapters. The girls revealed very little about themselves that we didn't already know or couldn't simply infer. Even the sex scenes hardly advanced their characterization.

Instead, DPC decided he wanted to be a dramatist rather than an eroticist and focus on the token background plots that no one cares about. DPC, if you're reading this, I do not care about how Maya pays for college. Worst case, she gets a job at In-N-Out and we still bone daily. If she finds $50,000 in a briefcase in the middle of the road next patch and I never hear about her free tuition again, I'll be overjoyed. Likewise, I really don't care about the drugs. Quinn does not seem like the type of individual to survive beyond five more years no matter how much money or drugs she has to her name. If maybe she was trying to save up money to escape this life, I could sympathize. Otherwise, she's obviously suicidal and it's hard to feel for her.

On that note, I can scarcely think of any F95 games which have background plots worth caring about. I'm talking about games that I would keep playing even if the porn were to disappear. Power Vacuum is really the only one that comes to mind.

If the major criticism of Ep. 9 was that DPC wasted time on animations, this time he wasted it on minigames. Anything that requires the player to spend added time on something outside of the main game loop (which they are there for in the first place) needs to be exceedingly fun to justify its presence. These minigames are not fun, and having them in there inflates player time investment without increasing engagement, which in turn discourages replayability, something you want to encourage in a story-driven experience with branching paths.

I've far from exhausted the playthrough options yet... not sure I'll bother with anything lengthier anyway, but I will say there are things I liked here and I think I'd have a more positive overall opinion simply by turning the minigames off.

yeah you nailed it. im glad i dont look forward to this game anymore. high production value isnt going to hold my attention when the updates are this boring and it takes a year to get any new content. if my actual college life was this boring and mundane i would have dropped out after 6 months.

Well, I think this is the first episode that forces you to play minigames even if you have them disabled. I have them turned off, but still get the stupid box puzzle, and the stupid fish, and shoot the stupid zombie, and the stupid crane game, and fight the stupid Jock. Why am I being forced to play stupid minigames when I don't want them?

Finished new upd. Too much puzzles here. Adding science lessons and fishtank was enough for my taste. Story meanwhile becomes more blurred and inflated with unnecessary drama. More fillers. Funny moments of student comedy are becoming noticeably fewer compared to. It was more fun and cosistent earlier. Well, overall, it is still very good game and one of best quality here, but im glad im not paying for it. Thx.

Waiting for next ep.

I can't get this episode to work. Any help appreciated! It says version 0.10.0 in the bottom right, and it says "scrappy's mod installed" in the bottom left. Yet when I click "continue" and try picking a save from episode 2, I get "an exception has occured" and it takes me to the "load a save from season 2" What to do?

Just wondering why you guys keep asking why your game crashes here on the game's thread instead of asking on the mods' thread.

This fucking math minigame hurts my head. I barely passed the class in real life. Now fucking DPC testing me again. Fuck You. It's gonna break my perfect track record.
How did you understand the previous math minigame but a little logic puzzle fucks you up? Especially since there's no time limit so you can just sit there and eliminate which boxes would be correct at your own pace. (Wish English had no time limit)
