I knew it had to be a joke: one, I hadn't seen anything in my email from Patreon/DPC, which I always check first thing Friday morning; two, since when does Heycock start posting the updates, especially without the MG banner? Then when DPC started by rather casually dropping that he hired another artist (something he has always railed against), I knew it was send up. A good one, though, that I quite enjoyed!

Well here are some tables. Still renders passed episode 8 a couple of weeks ago. Nice progress probably still a few hundred left to pose and render, depending on how big the remaining scenes are. Average for the episode is up to 142.6 a week so getting close to the 148 average of episode 8. This should be a fairly straight forward, as we've known for the last few months the animations are what is drawing things out.
Animations are a little harder to judge anyway, but progress this episode has been closer to the dev cycles of episode 5 and 6 while totals have now surpassed the one time high of episode 7 and and could reach above episode 8, presuming there are, as he forecasts, between 79 and 109 to render (not to mention posing 50-80).
The average for this epsodes animations has been 8.1 per week. This has included some long animations and so it's a litte hard to compare with previous releases. That said the last few weeks when DPC said he'd be working on shorter animations have seen an average of 11.8 completed per week. (59 between week 27 and 32). If the later average holds he has between 6.7 and 9.2 weeks of rendering time left for animations. This would mean animations completed between November 18th and December 9th. With two weeks of beta testing a December release is now almost certain with a release around Christmas very possible.

Quite possible. During a Rooster Cluck in EP4 by Derek Branch, the MC can reply that the two should finally get a room. It even says so in the official walkthrough.
