I think episode 10 might be the biggest update of any AVN to date. If you combine the static renders and say, roughly, each animation is 5 seconds in length. That is 52,921 renders. 52,921 - minus the renders yet to come. That is an insane level of renders done in 9 months or so. Utterly insane when it is just one man. Meanwhile some devs struggle to do 1k animations in 8 months.

It really pays to have 8, or 9, pcs all with 4090s huh?
It really is ridiculous how big this update will be, on its own, it will be bigger than a majority of the games here on f95.

Now, time for some math.

Using the last 3 episodes (except Interlude) the average animation duration is 5,17s. Rounding that up to 5,2 and considering that in the worst case scenario there are 91 animations left that its 14196 frames to render.

Using his render speed from his vacation, that would take 45 days to render. Plus the 2 weeks to test, which would put the update in 17/11.

On a more optimistic version, if the number of remaning animations is lower, like 80, and the average duration is a bit lower (5s) then the remaining number of frames to be rendered is 12000. That would shave off a week.

Madness really. I guess that is what happens when you have an ego the size of Jupiter but equally backed up with skill (and a heck load of cash aha). Man is on a mission and I am all there for it!

Orgitas, keeping in mind that at this point my sarcasm cannot be held at bay. And I'm just going to go ahead and troll the trolls, so just go with it brother! :sneaky:

What are you talking about?
Can you not read between the lines?
Is it that hard to notice that DPC is planing to abandon this project?
Sheesh, you'll see!
Soon we'll have plenty of other *cough*'upstanding and respectful'*cough* users come here and confirm what I'm telling you. They never let me down...

It is extremely cathartic to let your emotions out, you know? But, you know, he hasn't released a 50k+ render update in 6 months, so, of course, he is going to abandon the project, right right?

So roughly about 5-6 weeks, give or take, left to this cycle.
I suppose that's enough time to re-binge some Cheers, Mr Robot and Better call Saul again.
Should help sedate me until we get some more Isabella.

:coffee: Updated BigTable™ with the recent informations.
AtLeastRendersAreDone! :HideThePain:

  • Let's compare with the previous checkup 3 weeks before:
  • Renders: 4892 > 5539 produced. 5112 > 5601 renders total.
    • +647 completed (163/Week). Renders are basically count as done at that rate with 200 left.
  • Animations: 237 > 257 produced. 265 > 298 animations total.
    • +20 completed (6.7/Week). For the 50 left it would need ≈7.5 weeks at that rate.
  • Actual Target are now 90% > 97% for Renders and 76% > 85% for animations.
  • An extra Music been added too.
  • Compared to EP9: Preview are 25/21 and Rooster 5/7 revealed.
  • Release could be Early November (10 months / 46 weeks projection). 85% complete.
    • Posed Target Completion __ Renders: 97% | Animations: 85%

Dalli_x moment.

The overweight feminist students are the ones behind the traitorous actions and, therefore, in league with Biurke and co in the sex trafficking stuff. Why? Because... now listen closely... How many students, do you know, that can afford to buy 16 pizza and 28 cheese burgers. With fries and soda? How many?! It is clear they have a truck load of cash bank rolling their man hating food orgies!

Just look at the evidence. You cannot deny it!

They're alive and kicking and they keep telling that it's fine because the update will be huge, now.
Joking aside, I reckon it will be fine.

At the end of episode 9 I was disappointed because I didn't expect the entire episode to be encapsulated in the Halloween party, so I got quite a shock when it suddenly ended, but as long as DPC just tells the story in linear fashion, I imagine I'll probably enjoy episode 10 quite a lot.

Somehow the wait for episode 10 feels nowhere near as gruelling as the wait for episode 9 did. Of course where not there yet, but it does seem like we're closing in on the home stretch. (y)
