Milking yes. Its why most of the gameplay bugs haven't been addressed. Wouldn't be surprised if its still barely unplayable in 2 years time.

I've played most of the builds, and most of the time need to play with cheats, because the gunplay is not well designed. I'm a veteran FPS player and most of the mechanics are just there to screw with the player rather than add challenge. There is nothing challenging with a gun that jams every 2nd or 3rd bullet. Its just plain frustrating. But with cheats on, even if it jams, hey, I got god mode on so I don't get instant-killed when I try to unjam it. Like sure I've played games with gun jamming, ie AVP Classic 2000, or Fallout 3 (if you fired a gun with 20% or lower durability it would frequently jam) but this game takes it to an unreasonable extreme. Enemies have infinite ammo, are aimbots at a range of 200 meters, and often don't die to a headshot with quality ammo. Like seriously, you stun a Corporate and dump an entire clip of highest quality ammo, with a full composite gun, in their face at point blank range and they don't die. But they look at you and fire once, and you are dead basically.

If the porn wasn't in the game, probably no one would look at Delta Zone, as its just another poorly designed shooter on the market, but people give it a pass because it has porn in it. Like you want another solo developer FPS, that has no porn in it? Go try out the Ghostship games, like the newest one Ghostship Chronicles. At least there the gunplay actually works. But they hardly got any financial interest. Might have gotten some if it had porn in it though.
Holy cow mate, just calm down. It was clear at the start, that this is a Tarkov knock off with porn in it. You don't need most expensive ammo, you just have to use correct ammo. Every single ammo in the game has its own statistics and works for flesh, armour, distance, speed etc. I didn't have any problem to basicly smash whole map and come back to trader for more ammo/better mods. Gun is jamming? Maybe repair some parts or stop going full auto on raiders.

The game isn't hard, it's very specific. Don't ever repick from the same position cuz raiders will know exactly where you are, use your headphones to get their position without even looking and they won't even shoot you. Sorry mate but if you call yourself FPS veteran and u are getting dunked on without god mode, then you have to change your favourite genre of games.

Don't get me wrong, i hate a lot of things in this game. Most sex scenes are unpleasant/meh, i don't really like tentacles, hoovercraft is just stupid, the maps are connected instead being completely separeted with a way to choose one in hideout, all the boxes are the same, u basicly have one gun with multiple different gauges instead of separate guns and so on. But the biggest strenght in this game is gunplay which is fun, responsive, exciting and brutal. It's basicly Tarkov at home, without cheaters and very early in development.

It was, back when there were dummies hovering on the map instead of AI and a couple of builds after, but not anymore. It's not even 2 steps forward, one step back in recent updates, it's basically just a step back. The dev just takes what was working fine and tries to fiddle with it, making it way worse, for the illusion of progress in these updates. The whole map is now connected and the hideout is it's own location, not just a random FOB you go to between raids, just what the Tarkov wanted but never implemented because they actually thought about how it's going to play out.

Now hear me out, the basic gameplay loop is kill shit -> loot shit -> sell shit -> back to step 1.

The most efficient way to gain money now is to exit the hideout, go around the back to the trader, kill ~5 scavs in the vicinity, sell their shit, go back to hideout to reset the trader and the free loot delivery employees, rince, repeat. In a 5-ish runs you can already max the trader with the good and tried method of buying junk from vendors and instantly selling it back instantly.
The gameplay loop is now 100% complete. No extra quests, no extra enemies, nothing.

Well what if we think of this as a sandbox perspective? If the game doesn't give us any goals to achieve how about making our own?
First order of business: let's go to the swamp and max the traders there, the dev even removed one of the traders, surely it's some meta OP hotspot with all the gameplay goodies?
First of all, if you don't ignore scavs on the way there, you are probably 80% full inventory-wise. Second of all, when you get to the traders, you'll be blown away by the astounding stock of pregnancy tests and pills (10 per entry) in the safe zone, and some ammo at the other trader. Wowsies.

Alright, back to our usual grind, where we pick shit up 20 meters ahead of the trader and sell it to them.
Whoops. Ran into a bottleneck there. Each trader has only $150 on them. One of them runs a pharmacy in the safe zone and the other one is a weapons dealer. Must be the day before they get their paycheck, surely.
I don't know if it's a bug or intended literal money sinkhole, but every "restock" each of them sent my hard earned junk money to their off-shore accounts, taking away my option to scam them for money and only letting me buy back whatever I've already sold them.

So that leaves us with what? Broken traders, PRIMITIVE at best, gameplay loop. No reason to go back to hideout (no fatigue/hunger/thirst/lust/home assignments/%your reason here%). Mediocre gunplay. Yes, it's sorta in-depth, aaand... that's it. You don't need anything beyond 5.56 or 7.62 fmj. There's no "this works for that and this for that". It's just "everything below this acceptable level is trash and you are going to pay for using it".
I won't even talk about health and gun durability systems, as they are not even at the level of "Tarkov at home". It's somewhere slightly below "Marauders at home", which was sold on Discord.

I, too, had hopes about this becoming a solid game first of all and then the usual patreon porn milking cow.

Props to the dev tho, before he hired an animator, he managed to squeeze in animations in his usual releases (<3 months>), that's on top of building scenes with assets, coding, bla bla, etc. When he got a guy to work EXCLUSIVELY on animations, we only got a single cowgirl animation. I don't argue that this is a lot of work, but either someone is doing what they are paid for or... you know, getting "supported" for their work.

Anyways, see you guys in three months when we get, I don't know, another trader removed and bikes on swamp?

This summarizes the game so well and I hate that it is in that state.

I have high hopes for this game since this Alpha is mildly enjoyable, even for such a shitty game. But with how small development is and how Devolution isn't pumping out content as fast as it would take it to actually reach a proper release I doubt anything substantial will happen in the next few years.

LOL stfu cuck. as soon as you cucks lose faith and unsub his patreon he'll stop developing his shit and the game will join thousands of same abandonware shit. (while you get 1 fap animation a year LOL)
get real, the "God's chosen people" don't want you to fap and game at the same time, they want you to murder and take caffeine-based drugs at the same time while dying for israel in real life.
Firstly, I'm not a subscriber so I wouldn't have an opinion on that.

Secondly, "Gods chosen people"? When did this thread become theistic and political? I think you're just venting your frustration on being a part of an abandoned project before. I don't think the internet is for you, nor having a credit or debit card.

Yeah build 17 I get a lot of crashes with dxgi_error_device_hung. Random times could be playing for 5 mins or 15 so can't really reproduce it reliably.
These weren't present in build 16.
EDIT: tried downgrading nvidia driver to latest known stable version and it didn't help

I deleted DevolutionUserID-crack.lic in DeltaZone folder next to the game and it works.

But it keeps reappearing after you close the game so don't forget it before you play i guess.
It regenerates because you have the dxgl.dll or whatever, in the shipping folder. Delete that, and the .lic will stop regenerating.

Try deleting the Dx12 folder in Shipping. Then it defaults to DX11.

Yea i get your opinion, i was just talking about difficulty of the game, thats it. I usually support for 1Vbuck, shove in some crack and play for a few hours after each release, then i get bored. For me the gunplay is much much better than any other NSFWshooters aaaand that's it. No quests, no variety of enemies, only one gun to customize, you can't even create your own character with simple sliders (facial details, hair), loot is all the same inside the containers, there isnt any character progression, no bosses, no events inside the maps. It is boring and it will be for a long time for sure.

I did use HMD which is fun, 308AP is great as well for sniping corps, and FMJs are just BiS for most situations and yea i agree about parts durability. To be honest, i would prefer this game to be more "normal" in those lewd stuff (no tentacles, eggs, any other shit with contamination), add more cheeki breeki scavs with diversity in animations, more brutal or less but traditional. That would be better in my opinion.

Cheers mate!

Well, unsubscribing from this thread and from the Discord and waiting for final/Steam release.
There are additional possible reasons to skip this project. Figure yourself.

Lol, this game randomly freezes for me during the last two builds 15 and 16, and it makes no difference whether I try to play with or without a crack
