It was started for EraTohoK, but seems to have become general discussion for all the era based Toho games, As for Megaten? Have not seen it show up here.

I have been playing TW for quite some time in bursts of never touching to playing for days, I have tried K but I would rather not do the risk based gameplay. This time cause of the huge gap of TW updates I have swapped to Pedy-TW and focused on Youmu as my love target for sexual content to see what they get, before finding Eiki and swapping to her.

Eiki was a real long grind as she works long hours every second day, goes into a semi depressed mode when costumes are forced on her by the world, and having lots of negative influencing traits, but was hell worth it, She also has interaction with the dairy which I have never seen any other character use

Ah, so it started as an EraTohoK thread then turned into a thread about Tohou-themed Era Games in general? That makes sense. Thanks for the explanation.

I think Hatate does too, but I might be misremembering. I remember she does have nightly journal events at least for certain milestones.

I like that they added more stuff for brewing in the pedy version. Hopefully they make a way to get more than one jar at some point, cause the new multistage brewing can take a while. Also grapes->wine->brandy is far more profitable than the rest. Not sure if Rum is profitable yet considering how much sweetener you need and its aged product not being particularly high in value compared to the brandy. Depends on how much I get out of it I guess. I got 3 xo brandy from 20 grapes which could be sold for 30k each. The shop also gives you even better sell prices the more you sell to them. They'll buy brandy for 45k from me now. Rum's aged final product though is only like 8k, and considering how expensive sweetener is even at the food shop, if you only get 3 bottles out of it, its gonna be tough to justify making it over more brandy.

Also nice to see all the tools that can now be modded by nitori instead of just the pool. Fishing Rod/Umbrella/Chainsaw/Food Jar can now be modded in addition, though they can get pretty spendy.(Umbrella has a 1 mil cost upgrade for a once per day fix itself ability)

Text with pictures. There's images of each touhou, both clothed and unclothed, with flushed pictures for when they're highly aroused.

Not really comparable to CoC or TITS. While there is combat in TW, its usually something you choose to participate in and the combat is more trying to hedge RNG rolls with strategic use of limited bombs. There are random encounters but you can always run from them, and generally losing a fight does not result in rape.(I think if the combatant is an animal youkai in heat there's a chance they may assault you after, but I've never seen it happen). This game's leveling system is closer to something like elder scrolls, where doing actions gets you experience in specific skills, or increases sensitivity for that body part. TW is more of a life sim than an adventure story like CoC or TITS.

The wiki links can be pretty far out of date sometimes, but yeah they don't need an account to download. For example, the TW link on the wiki is from August last year. The git branch I linked last updated in January. So about a 5 month difference.

Far as I can remember, EraTohoK is the only one of the bunch that actually has some minor text references to the ladies weights during lewds, and there are ways to alter them with a buyable item (what this does is has some minor flavor dialogue refering the girls as underweight/overweight and such during lewds, so it has minor flavor dialogue impact at least.)
It's also simpler to make alterations to character portraits in K, make/use your own customs, even easier if you're fine with just grabbing and using a single image. Other than that, you're SOL on this fetish. (I know that feel)

While semi-related, many eragames have an overlap of this strange measurements system that's a bit odd in its execution and it's not a particularly well developed feature. From what I can tell, you can basically randomize a girls measurement numbers to be 150cm 50KG with F Cup tits or 180cm 70kg with K cup tits, but it has absolutely no impact on the rest of the game and isn't even referred to or mentioned at all. Leftover old code probably that the devs and/or translators all ignore?

I can agree with you on that. Being SOL on a fetish isn't a pleasant feeling. Pedys has more content from what I understand, so that's the version I'm using. Though at times the portraits break, I'm not sure if that's a reoccurring issue from prior or something new. Should be compatible with the other versions saves if you're upgrading to it. Game errors are rare so it wouldn't hurt to save in multiple files, you do get 200 slots after all.

It's more that the "3 sizes measurement system" doesn't seem to "connect" or interact with anything else in these games, it's essentially just randomly generated numbers that exist on the profile screen. Even in K, it's actually only reading the "BIG, SMALL, FAT, THIN" etc settings of the standard size stuff all the games use. It's kind of hard for me to explain this more clearly I guess.

1:I'm not really the person to ask about this, I usually go with eng-develop or eng-release, I think the latter tends to be the more stable of the two and you can check when it's last been updated by when it was "last authored."

2:All of the Era games have differing levels of grind, I'd say Megaten has the heaviest grind of them all if you're looking at 100%ing type stuff, especially since aside from the lewd it's a massive crossover RPG centered around Megami tensei stuff with extra crossover stuff thrown in for good measure if you enable it, even all the current 2hus are in it as eligible allies. Amount of grind depends on what you're trying to get out of the game. I will say I probably sunk more time into this than I have in all the official megami tensei-series games combined.

3: Yes, and there's a few items for a few irregular colors depending on the game. Rule of thumb is you can generally customize mostly the same stuff you can for the girls on the profile, but you can also just ignore that and use your own custom portraits for your character if you look into the readme for it. The biggest problem I tend to have with the MC is that lots of different devs are writing for this, so occasionally some of the content will have "your character" acting out of line with the alignment you may be doing so don't be too shocked when your virgin Light/Neutral alignment character devolves into speaking like a generic edgy rapist MC for a scene or two. That aside, you can generally play how you like and from what I recall most of the "MC speaking" content tends to be things involving actions more than actually talking, going by your alignment, or gives you dialogue options. Easily ignorable either way. (I wouldn't know what the evil-alignment content is like anyways)

1: Farming rework. Plot amount scales with Foraging level and it's easier to start farming sooner, but isn't as OP.
2: A bunch of tools can now be upgraded, not just the pool, adds more late game goals.
3: Inventory can be sorted now instead of the huge wall of text.
4: Playing music at banquets is more feasible at level 4-5 Musician level, you won't be immediately KO'd like before.
5: I think it's harder to reach "Lover" than before, though maybe that's just a tweak with Remilia.

I just noticed the wiki version is absolute shit at translations, that guy wasn't wrong. Weird, I thought that's what I originally downloaded. I wasn't signed in to Git, so I wonder how the hell I originally ended up with a more translated version before switching to Pedy version, lol.

I think I've noticed another difference while trying to get kokoro to love. You can get rid of Ignorant by getting a touhou's knowledge to at least 2 and then bringing them to a location with the Reading command and selecting ero-book. Takes a few times but eventually you get the event. Way faster than the masturbation addiction method.

Oh and the fairy prank requests are new too. They can be risky as you target a specific touhou when you get it, and getting caught usually results in some major stam/energy decrease(Though you can use timestop to escape), but the rewards are skill exp in random skills. I was curious on one of them, and getting caught by parsee actually netted me 100 favor. So the bad outcome isn't always fully bad.

I downloaded Pedy-TW last night and it's the first Era Game I've ever downloaded. So I don't have any previous saves of a game I haven't played before.

A lot of actions continue when used once, you can check that with upper/lower body. Tools are the most obvious, but others continue as well like breast fondling, at least until you use your hands for something else. Multiple orgasms are also easier with denial mode, it prevents orgasms for a bit, so you can pile up multiple orgasms easier. Only issue with denial mode is it will often cancel all current actions on the girl, making it difficult to keep up pleasure on multiple body parts. Caress is pretty good to use with denial mode because it hits breasts, clit, mouth at the same time for one action.

That or you can just RNG/brute force your way to a ton of multiple orgasms. If a girl is lewd enough and you're using tools on a girl while fucking her, she'll have multiple body part orgasms enough even without denial mode to eventually reach rank 3 pleasure mark. I never explicitly tried to unlock it and I've gotten the 3rd pleasure mark with a few girls already.

Probably the fastest way to achieve it is to just spam caresses. They use very little energy and you won't have to worry about your vigor, so you can caress most girls for like 5 hours straight and make them orgasm a shit ton.
