Anecdote about the quiz where you have to play the lute. I actually played the lute. I don't know how to play it in real life, but I desperately wanted to win the competition out of pride; I refused to lose to those xenophobic and overly arrogant Elves. So I asked the AI, showing it a screenshot of the keys, to compose a piece of music for me, and I reproduced it. Unfortunately, it was scripted to make us lose.
We need to send it to Caribdis, the poor sod doesn't realise the dedication levels some in the fanbase have lmao
Eh, I disagree, kinda. Methinks it's more likely due to the rumour mill of Caly not being the main girl in the original plan is true, but due to popular demand

She was not "promoted" due to popular demand lol the original plans were to have at least 9 LIs before Cari understandably trimmed that to 7 "major" LIs and Caly being relegated as a "secret main" LI that's only unlockable late in the story, likely because having her share development and date scene time with the other LIs will require him to speed up introducing Hyril'ar and bringing her to the Real World (not to mention having her be main LI right off the bat is basically spoilers of her status as a real being and not an NPC).

There is a sound that played many times in the game. Whenever MC is in a situation where it seems it's end that time it plays and MC get's saved. Like in the council when Thorund was about to vote.. i don't see why would he defend it just so he can hang MC after couple days...

That's great! It seems like we were destined to lose that competition no matter what. It would have been cool if the game gave you different outcomes if it could detect different qualities in music, but alas, that would have been crazy for Cari to program.

Aside from "yeah, I planned 9, but changed it later" everything else is your speculation. Unless I'm very mistaken Calypso in earlier versions didn't even have any variables for relationship level tracking, her interest was introduced later, after the cult of Calybros was established. If she was planned as secret main LI from the start, it'd be there in at least some form. Instead her "interest" got introduced later. So unless Caribdis comes out and says "Yeah, I planned that from the get go and was hiding from codemonkeys", I'll stick to my version tyvm.
I think there was some tiny variance in her previous scene, but it was, as I've said, tiny. Mostly flavour text iirc, but it's been a while.
Bit of a tangent and not my fetish, but there's a particular game where IRC the dev was forced to remove any hint of incest between the mother and adult (looking) step-daughter because of the credit card companies/patreon. The funny thing is that the game still has an optional plotline where you get to fuck a dog and I think suck off a horse.Maybe the best line in this update

Nope. Penny likes it rough, she mentions it a couple of times. That choice in earlier version only changes the scene during her shoot.
