Friend, I am a father and a grandfather... I've been around this block a few hundred dozen times now. Hahaha

I'm beginning to think this dev is at least slightly delusional, thinking that he can somehow combine all the tags he mentioned in a single story and ever finish it or that anyone will care to play it. This has me even more curious to see what is in that prologue now so I still plan to see at least that much. But, I fail to see how combining such a laundry list of competing tags will do anything but drive folks away in droves. Even if the dev does not fully disclose all of the tags he mentioned earlier, this website WILL. Most users of this site put far too much stock in the tag system and the list this dev proposed will do nothing more than confuse folks or thoroughly piss them off.

I have played many hundreds of titles from this site over the last several years. I only recently signed up for an account. I've been here for many years. I have a curious streak that even makes cats jealous. I look at a lot of games, AVN and kinetic AVN titles that have tags for things I actually hate, like NTR. I have seen more than I care to see in many respects but that is how I have found some of the gems that are now cherished parts of my ever expanding collection. I also run a lot of them right into my recycle bin. About once every other month, I go through and clean out all of my AVN folders, the WIP folder and both of my testing folders... not even my completed game folder is completely safe as I drop games from there sometimes too.

So, no worries, my friend. Old Phat knows how to delete the bullshit when I find it. Anyway... I'm just rambling on at this point...

I understand your concern and warnings when I can fall very quickly, walking on the blade and delighting everyone with all sorts of options, I just don't want my creation to slide into monotony, and self-repetitions.

I don't want to sound silly to you, who doesn't understand your words, but I think you can somehow combine or weave everything together so it's a different experience for everyone, I've already defined the storyline, but there are a bunch more side stories I can tell or not tell, I can easily and secretly give you choices when it becomes clear what you like and dislike, and show them that way. The experience is different for everyone, of course I exaggerate, but I hope you understand what I mean.

The issue is, the way you are currently thinking relies on people playing the game first, where as they simply skip the game when they see that it has or will have such tags. (Why would they try a game with content they hate? avoidable or not.)
No amount of writing or effort will change that because they ain't played the game and the thread is now ignored.

My friend I am only trying to inform. I am not suggesting what choice you should make, but to consider and understand what will happen with certain choices.

It's all fine to diversify, however some things just can't co-exist, one simply can't add X polarizing genre that is hated by 99% of Y fans, and expect the Y fans to stick around.
Simply having X means you lose a large contingency of Y fans, all if not avoidable.
(X being stuff like NTR, Sharing/swinging, bestiality etc. and Y being Harem/Vanilla/Incest/Romance)

And remember, you are competing with people for those same fans, that don't add in X genre to their game at all. Although that is only important if you care about the monetary side of things.

Also, the things I have been mentioning are specific to niche genres that are usually hated by those that are not into said niche. NTR being one of the more obvious examples. (i.e. you can't add everything an expect it to go well being the point there)

Pick a path. That is what we are saying. Try to include everything and lose nearly everyone. Peeping/voyeurism can be hot so is having the MC fantasize in a dream. Also, you HAVE to choose either ntr OR harem. You cannot do both. The concepts are completely incompatible. You will lose far more potential fans with tags like bestiality, urination and scat than you will ever gain. The bottom line really is, make the game that YOU would want to play and stick to that but choose a branching path where the tags match. Choose your audience. There are die hard ntr fans out there who hate the whole idea of harem and vanilla content. Those same folks are often into BDSM, femdom and/or male dom but even that crowd is divided, only wanting to see certain aspects of those genres. The futa/trans lovers are also divided and only want to see certain types of that content. This is why I do not play games that are written by committee, where the author is making decisions regarding story based on his/her latest patreon poll. Give your fans choices but always write your own story.

I do make suggestions but will NEVER tell you what game to make. It's your game, your call 100%. I do share what I like and don't like but it's still up to you to decide. Just know that the more radical you try to make your game, the fewer fans you will have. As I said earlier, I try MANY games and AVN's from this site. I try games that have a few tags I don't like if there seems to be more content that I will like. Sometimes that pays off but more frequently those titles are quickly deleted.

At this point, I really need to play your prologue to have a better idea where you are coming from, friend. I withhold any additional commentary until I have actually played some of what you created. Again, I do not wish to seem overly critical. I've been around this site long enough to see what works and what doesn't. I am glad that you seem to want to make something different. I like that idea. It is good to blaze your own trail. I would simply caution not to try to blaze EVERY trail in the same game. THAT is a recipe for disaster.
