"Pulling the plug" insinuates that he thinks he has some sort of control over any of these projects.
For his edifice, just because HE says it's done doesn't mean it IS done. L&S is a prime example of this.
His entire post reeks of arrogance in its tone and wording.

Especially since at least 2 are actively being worked on. NMS is getting a mammoth final update soon, L&S is back in development, Mirror Mine I think he is back at work on (IIRC). And I don't know S,L & F.

Just such a BS way to act. The entitlement that people on a pirate website exhibit is sometimes infuriating.

Wow, it must suck to not have any older, complete games.
Take (for example) GTA San Andreas. Hasn't been updated in forever but still viewed by some as the best in the series so far.

First of all: My apologies for the late post.
Currently, I have a quite playable version of 0.08.5 but I am honestly not satisfied as to how things look and feel.
I decided to spend more time to make the new content more towards what I wanted and the way I envisioned. I hope you guys can understand that I want to get the first scenes right as further content builds on it (also continuing from a "good" start will make things much easier in the future).
The other issue is to make those scenes feel "reasonable" timing-wise, Carol Love back then was rushed and I did receive quite some understandable criticism. I want to avoid that for this update.
As for a release date, all I can say is that I initially wanted to release by the end of this month but with all the hiccups, that's out of the window. Again, I am not happy how much time things are taking.
Obviously there is a limit as for how long I work on this update but I think it's the right call to get it done right the first time instead of reworking it in the future.
I'm a little stressed out about the situation but I think I already did some good edits and improvements that will make the experience a little more fun.
This is the first time after the very big break where I work under time pressure and I apologize for the long wait.
Looking into the future though, I am still optimistic that releases will come out faster especially when it comes to rendering times (Denoiser for the win). On the other hand, the number of animations people expect from an update nowadays is way higher. I guess I have to adapt and get used to those "new" requirements.

- Don't click the map or questlog icons in the top right immediately after this message pops up. Wait till it disappears to use either one of those buttons...
- I would also avoid clicking inside the text box to advance to the next scene. I think I saw someone saying that might have caused it for them.

You'll prob be forced to load to a time before the text box appears then follow the steps above to have a clean play through. Either that or it might disappear once you reach the end of the current chapter you're playing.

1. I'll avoid giving concrete percentages to avoid looking foolish, but I can say we are still in the very early stages of this game.
2. Yes, a Mira+Cait threesome path exists and you actually see the very beginning stages of it towards the very end of the current build (.08) if you showed interest in both of them.

Please, NOT. The animations are the cancer for these games, they take a lot of time and delaying the updates for months and the result is just a few seconds of animation. We had before an update for 1.5/2 months, now an update for 4/5 months at least. It's frustrating for the dev because it takes a lot of time to advance the plot with just 4 updates in a year, and it's frustrating for us, because we have to wait for months for the same content with just a few seconds of animation. In games where the plot is weak I can understand it because is focusing on the porn side, but in games like this where the plot is the most important, an animation add little value.
