elasahel It's auto marked as abandoned however the Dev keeps putting out posts saying that they haven't put out anything due to family/health/motivation/time.....the longest gap they went between updates which was the currently released one and the one before that only resulted in proper english translation...removal of camera and some other change I believe....but no actual content, the gap was a year give or take nearly. However they are getting money in that entire time from the Ci-EN support system which should be an incentive to produce however it ends up not being that since well....they went a year and put out that update and have gone silent once more. (they had 3 months time of work before an family death occurred just before Christmas but nothing was visible in terms of work done)
I feel that a better way of doing a donation/support system thing is having it be that when the creator puts out an update of a specific type they give the associated reward for that which you set out, e.g. status update:2 , game preview:5 , demo/game playable update:10 , release of game:20. As through that the creators are incentivized to update their supporters while the supporters can throw money at what they want the most since they could change status update payment to 10 if the creator has been silent for a while. Additionally if they feel that a creator is putting out too much just nothingness for too long they can do the opposite and decrease the payment to 1 and then just stop supporting if it continues since well....the obvious becomes definite and thus the creator loses their ability to be so laid back.
Dieselmine themselves (which are a company now I believe instead of just a small group of people) haven't put out anything themselves for a while-ish (I think Mage Kanede was their last one? and before that it was Lose Hero which was 2 year prior?) but game development can take year or two with their general length of games....animations though could easily add on extra time of a year or so I feel....but they publish plenty (however it sometimes isn't clear when they do publish instead of make) as last game they published looking at Steam was "Fighting Magical Girls RPG Women Defense" on 21st Febuary this year.
