I appreciate the models have more realistic bodies than cartoonish dimensions
The border between cute anime girls and ugly big-eyed aliens is very thin, I tried to enlarge their eyes, but it only got worse.
Btw I used classic western comics as a reference, and there most characters have realistic (more or less) proportions of the face and body. In addition, this greatly simplified my work, because it was only needed to change the skin materials and remove unnecessary details.
And add thick outline. EXTRA THICC. It makes every picture 20% cooler.

The animation is very well-done too.
I don't consider my animation as very good. There are many things that need to be improved. Go here if you want too see some really good animations.
I did my first animation just two months ago when I clicked on the "Render Animation" button instead of the "Render Image".
The problem is that the quality requirements in games are very low. Any animation will be considered as very good if it is more complex than a simple transition between two poses.

we just don't see it a lot
Here is another trouble. The more the visual style differs from standard DAZ or HoneySelect, the less popular it is.
The same is for the story - the more it differs from the default “a son with oversized dick wants to fuck his mom, sister and everyone else in the town”, the more likely it is that nobody will be interested. This means that rarely does anyone want to take risks and do something unusual if you can easily collect 8 pages of comments and $200 donations in the first week with much less effort.
I just jelly because I have already collected the most unpopular tags and will never become popular.

To bad, some people cared but guess that wasn't enough, thing is, if you want to make a game, do it because you like it, going with just popularity will make it hard if you do a niche game like this. So many devs complain of not "getting enough money" or being popular, like its the players fault... they don't care, make what you want.. or not, its a flawed thinking.

Wrong mindset for a dev.

Said it once, said it a thousand times, this isn't a career. Very few people will ever make a living doing this, at best it's a hobby.

Do it because you enjoy it or you set yourself up for disappointment. This has been going for a handful of months, that's no time at all. You won't get a massive influx of support during a global pandemic when millions of people around the world are trying to get by on minimal funds wondering if they will have a job to go back to.

Quitting and saying no one cared says more about the person making the statement than anyone else.

Quitting so soon and so easily, how is anyone else supposed to care about your work when you make it seem you don't?

If you are trying to make a living doing this then you are aiming for the wrong industry. Unless you get lucky, really lucky, the chances of you making more than a couple of hundred quid is very slim.

The easiest way is to get into this as a hobby. That way you lose nothing if it doesn't take off but if it does you gain a lot.

I will say that abandoning games does make people wary, too many devs have gone that road. If you try again it's going to be even harder to get support.

tl:dr if you aren't doing this because you enjoy it you aren't going to last long.

Also, if you're going to do anything like this (I mean something artistic not just a porn game) the general rule is your first five to ten projects will be terrible. It seemed like it had a lot of potential and you were covering ground that other people weren't doing. Taking the time to fight through the problems of undertaking something no one else was doing might have eventually paid off in a big way, but now you'll never know.

Very true, thats one of the reasons many of the "different" games gets abandoned, of course it can be hard if you have low motivation, and what is driving you is others, but then doing a niche project seems dead from the start..

Guys, guys I have a great idea!
I can post such "I retarded retired" twice a month and get as much feedback as from the last update! With much less effort! So smart I am! Yay! That would be funny, if it weren't so sad.
Seriously, from the last update I got one page of comments and few upvotes. This is the definition of "nobody cares". It doesn't matter how good or bad your work is - people will leave comments and someone will upvote. Not to mention I have only one patron. In the best of times there were three. You know, it’s the best motivation - to see how supporters are leaving.
The last time I posted previews here no one reacted. Are they good? Bad? Should I change something? Is anybody here? I already made more than a half of the next update. With more animations and they are longer now, it’s much more easier to make smooth movements if you have more time space. But I really don’t want to publish anything. In my best I will get one more page of comments, few upvotes and the last patron will quit. Why wouldn't I do that?
I will continue to work on this, but for myself. Maybe I'll stop feeling so bad. At least I will get as many reviews as I have now.

Instead of trying to DJ your own pity party do something about it.

Thousands of devs have their stuff on here and a lot of them are in the same boat as you.

Post in other threads and get your name seen, speak to devs that have been noticed and find out how they did it and shill your game around.

Devs like Philly_Games has always been willing to help new devs.

Have a word with the guys over at Lewd Pixels and see if they will mention your game.

So many games come through here you need to push yourself out there to get noticed.

Also networking in general never hurts. We all have strengths and weaknesses and networking allows us to discover what our strengths are and fix our weaknesses by learning from people with opposite skill sets, or if you get a really good working relationship and say you're great at story but crap at art (or vice versa) you can find someone in the opposite boat as you and you'll both have better projects for it.

But in general to get anywhere you're going to have to spend a long time without a lot of people caring. I can't count the number of shows I played when I was still in a band where we just played to the band's girlfriends.

I think the models on the whole need a little work. If you're cutting the detail down to a cell-shaded/traditional animation look, you need to be selective about what details you leave out and which ones you play up. At the moment it looks like you left it as a basic texture map over traditional cg.

That said the animation for the sex scene looked really hot. Really sold the arousal well like that "can't wait to get at each other's bodies" feel. It just sells the whole "I need her pussy NOW!" vibe. Honestly if not for that I might have been a bit harsher, but you're onto something special with your animations.

The characters were quirky and fun, and the story made me laugh at points. I enjoyed the cel shading, as well. Looking forward to more.

Meanwhile I changed the rendering mode. Accidentally. Againg.
Now I must find proper color tones for the skin and all other surfaces.

And I also bought a new set of facial shadows on the summer sale for only $9999.99. Beware of my paint madskillz!
This had to be done at the very beginning, because it not only makes all the characters 20% creepier, but also allows me not to bother with proper lighting as I can simply choose the shadows from the list.

And I bought new eyebrows for only $99.99, because the old ones were not quite what I wanted.

And I added few lines around nose, above eyes, marked cheeckbones and all over the body.

And then there is a long list of things what needs to be redone.

This is also a great approach to life.

Make art because it speaks to you. I've worked with bands that played to 10 people in a bar, and 9 of them were there to drink, not listen to music.

If one wants to make money, treat this as a business. Find out what customers want and provide that. That's not art but it will make money and get attention.

I'm a bit older. I will never make commercial art. I will tell my stories, the ones that turn me on. If no one else gets turned on by them, that doesn't change how I feel about the stories.
