Hey, loving the game! but have a (technical?) question. Whenever the camera pans up a woman (/alien/nonbinary person/etc)'s body, the picture is completely fractured. At first I thought it was an artistic choice but I'm starting to think not. Is it just me?

Apologies if this has been asked, I tried searching the thread but couldn't hit on any results, maybe using the wrong terms. Example attached. Thanks!

It's not a game problem, it's an issue with your hardware/graphics driver/OS not supporting the default graphics renderer.

Check your graphics driver is up to date, or use Shift+G and try a different graphics renderer.

If that doesn't work your system may not be able to run games made with newer versions of Ren'Py (TFTUV is now running on Ren'Py 8.1.1).

like said, you need to either update drivers of your graphic card or get newer card.

anybody have the 1st season save here?
yes but to to get it you need to play s1 (from op) to end (thrown back to main menu) and then game saves your choices which will be used in s2.

Two common problems that may arise when playing on Mac are these:
  • the app is quarantined by Gatekeeper because its from an unknown developer;
  • the executable inside the app might have lost its execute permission during unzipping
To check quarantine, start Terminal and type "xattr " without the quotes at the prompt and drag the problematic app into the Terminal window. Terminal will fill out the path for you. Mind there is a space between the command and said path. Hit enter. If you see com.apple.quarantine in the results, the app is quarantined.
To remove the quarantine, type "xattr -d com.apple.quarantine " and drag the app again into the window. Hit enter. Quarantine should now be removed.

To check the second case, you need to look into the contents of the app: right click on the TFTUV app, pick Show package contents. Navigate to /Contents/MacOS/. Inside that folder you'll see a file called TFTUV. That file should be a Unix executable. If it's anything else, it has lost its execute permission.
To fix this, start Terminal and type "chmod a+x " without the quotes at the prompt and drag the file inside the Terminal window. Terminal will fill out the path for you. Again mind there is a space between the command and the path. Hit enter. The file should now be executable.

As a general precaution, make a duplicate of the app first before changing its attributes or permissions.

Another general hint for troubleshooting: instead of opening the app, try opening the executable inside the app. It then should start by opening Terminal. If something is wrong, there might be more information in the Terminal window.

This is what I got after trying this:

Please let me know what else I can do to make this work?

Start by reading the instructions again, but this time more carefuly. I clearly stated there should be a space between the command and the path to the app or executable.
In your screenshot I see xattr/Applications... That will never work. It should be xattr /Applications... The same goes for the chmod a+x command.

Install windows or linux like a normal person...
I find it more funny, that he plays game from the same dev of " ". Also perhaps he like to pay prenium for products, like 3 500 for VR googles, 5 000 for a display, 1 000 for a branded stand for the same display...

Then maybe he should install TempleOS and pray to Jesus... :KEK:

Thank you! It's a pretty old computer so may just be out of date. I'll try the other setups you recommend, appreciate it very much!

at least on windows it's easier ton install porngames.
In this sense it isn't different from Linux. Often it is the same set of files for both OSs. You just launch the executable file from where it is, no installation is needed. Sometimes I start game in one computer in Windows from a flash drive and continue in other computer in Linux
