To those we are on a mac catalina. i seemed to find a way to make it work (for other guys in here please confirm if this is a solid way)

So, i'm sure you have the old version of the game which opens correctly.

The old version -> Right click: Show package contents -> Contents (Stay here)

Open a new finder -> Go to old game -> Right click: Show package contents -> Contents -> Resources

Go to the other window and replace the 'Resources' folder.

Open the old game and you'll see that the game continues.

Please, you guys here who answer most of the questions (thanks by the way) confirm if this method is ok even for the future releases.

I will say this, the graphics of this game are too good for Switch, it will not be able to run even the screensaver.

Are you sure about that? ToN doesn't need much at all... It probably can run on a Raspberry Pie without any issue.

Do you have a mod installed?
Maybe it's because of the screen resolution? Have you tried changing it?
Have you been saved for a long time? Maybe Alt + F4 will solve your problem (This will close the game). Maybe restarting it will help.
The game has hotkeys. Press Esc, Z, X, Enter, Num 0, Right mouse button. Maybe this will help.

Have you tried restarting the game? Do you have a mod installed? what version do you use, compressed uncompressed?
