Alright, thank you - found the issue. Technically it isn't a softlock - you should be able to manually type 'End Conversation' and be able to continue. I have a fix up on subscribestar, in a public post, same as I did with the guide - I'll wait to see if there are more bugs to fix first before constantly asking the mods to amend the thread with new links.

Completed the Sanctum of Knowledge, but there's no option to talk to the Museumcurator to move on to the Sunken Palace quest.
Also in the Sanctum, with the chains on the left side, the status of "ascended" and "descended" won't change if you interact with them. The sentence saying that you raised or lowered it appears still, so you can use that to work around it.

Kinda both. The game distribution comes with an HTML/JS Glulx interpreter along with the gblorb, so you can either use your web browser or an Glulx interpreter to play it.
I'm ~80% sure every single inform7 game is tagged as html and that there is no tag for IF. I had and have no control over that identification. The game itself definitively uses only Inform's code, however, beyond the packaged interpreter (which I did not make, it comes with inform7) there is only the actual gblorb file.

Yeah, there's no IF or Inform tag. Flexible Survival and Trap Quest are both marked as "Other."
I think the main reason this was flagged as "HTML" is because of the bundled interpreter.
Problems I encountered:
During the computer lab quest, entering a certain room will cause some "error token" bug and will prevent the game from continuing. Undo or any command prompt will not fix it.
Same goes with the giant bees quest. Enter a certain room will also give an error token bug and makes it unplayable.
Other bugs:
When viewing the town quest agenda, it won't show. "I do not understand that noun or verb" shows up everytime.
The misc job also bugged out. Saying the same thing.

Do you happen to remember which room in each dungeon?
The one for the computer, is almost at the end of the dungeon.
The hive is with... I think almost at the end close to bee queen, between two rooms that have a battle with larvae.
Alright, thanks! I'll look into them when I get a chance. I just had to deal with some expensive computer related issues, so it might be a while - however I'll definitely have a version with fixes out for these things when I can.
Ran into a few problems. I can't beat the headmaster. in the middle of the battle, the screen goes white no keys seem to work and i can only restore.
edit: I managed to find a workaround by using commands on the blank screen. Couldn't see what was going on, but the dialong came back after I won.
Honestly, I'm really enjoying the game so far, love most of the bad endings especially the impregnations one. Just wish there was more erotic jobs other than stippers. Maybe prostitution or shooting pornos can be future jobs.

Glad to hear you are enjoying the game - I'll be releasing a fix tomorrow that should address a lot of issues. There are a few I couldn't figure out how to solve, but hopefully the ones addressed are enough to make things even more enjoyable.
As for more jobs; Granted that I am able to continue working on the game (life has been rough money-wise lately), there will definitely be plenty more jobs. Currently the erotic one on there needs to be reworked heavily, as its a bit of a mess right now. I like the structure of the hunting job far more, and might adjust the stripping one accordingly if I ever get the time.

I found another issue and had to make a hotfix to the patch. It can be found on a public post on my subscribestar!
The new Temple of Bounty location doesn't seem to have any enemy encounters aside from the boss, and also won't let me leave.
Also, the Museum Curator doesn't have any prompts after completion of the Sanctum of Knowledge to continue on to the Sunken Palace.
