I think it comes down to whether the person has a conscience. Quinn may have a conscience, she just spent too much time burying it in order to survive, and now the mc is helping her to climb out of that rut, or she may be a psychopath, in which case the mc needs to fuck her and move on (and maybe change his address while he's at it).
I would say this, wouldn't I, but I think it's the former. Quinn's path is full of examples, but since some people delight in saying they only happen if you choose to help her etc, here are a couple from the main story: the conversation with Tommy where she says she wouldn't want him to take the blame if things go south with the new DIK/HOT arrangement; her reaction to Tommy subsequently when they fall out over the evaluation party mess. If she was purely motivated by self-interest she wouldn't have cared about either, yet she evidently does.

Why do you try to reasoning with people that are trying to make other user censured because he doesn´t like his political or social views, exposed in a polite way? I think is absurd. This person is not interested in your opinions unless those opinions are coincident with their own. He thinks he has "The Truth Revealed" and is as open minded as Maya´s father, although their ideologies are different. But, of course, Maya´s father is an imaginary character, and this person is real.
We can only grow if we engage others who differ from us. Plus I enjoy debate (ask anyone here ).

Coming back to the game, I understand some of the criticisms made against the clichés conveyed. The scenario relies on stereotypes to create comic situations: Jocks are stupid, Alpha Nu Omega are snob, feminists are radical, etc.

I don't mind because I don't consider these representations to be ideological (there is even a disclaimer). But some people have stronger sensitivity to these comedies. Humor is so subjective that we can tolerate everyone does not embrace it. I, myself, find more subtleties in this game than in American Pie, the film series makes me uncomfortable.

I also read in the negative reviews that some players didn't expect so much sexual content, so there is sometimes a misjudgment on a game that is pornographic.

I don´t know, man. Most of the time I think that DPC is not going to repeat the ending of AL that nobody liked, and I have written here comments saying that. But truth is, DPC seems to have an uncanny love for drama. He has set a lot of situations in this plot that can´t be easily solved and seems to be preparing us for a shitstorm the lasts chapters. Actually, it would be disappointing that situations as rotten as the one of Quinn and Burke, with prostitution of underaged students and drugs traffic, or the one of Bella and her missing husband, at the end become in a storm into a glass of water. It would be much ado for nothing.
What bothered the players in AL (in my opinion) was not the drama itself, it was the fact that it was inevitable, and that no one saw it coming (which is normal).

You are right, in BaDIK, there is drama, and these are pretty serious subjects. We're going to have some tough times between now and the end of the game, but given how the game is going so far, we'll have an influence on what happens.

DPC will not do the AL move a second time. We will have difficult things to do, we will have situations complicated by our choices, but we will not have a big drama that pops up out of nowhere to change everything without being able to do anything about it.

Judging by the fact that we have been training to fight for 2 seasons in brawler and that Caleb is now our worst enemy, I expect a mini-kickboxing tournament in college, which is much more interesting than an ordinary basketball match.

"I expect a mini-kickboxing tournament in college" is that normal in mother russia?

is naive to think there is a good side hidden on Quinn. Unless you are 15 you should know people better (MC is aware of what she did to people, can't recall which things we know that MC doesn't tho rn, but pretty much everything I think?)
Are you serious? It does not matter how old a person is 10 or 50 years old, if he met a person whose parents are drug addicts, alcoholics or grew up in war conditions, he will immediately understand that the standards of morality and life priorities of a person are completely different ... to survive.
She does not force anyone to engage in prostitution, she helps to get free education (there are places on this planet where prostitution is legal)
She herself does not engage in prostitution, the biggest sin, drug trafficking and use ... there are states in America and countries in Europe where all this is legal.
Quinn is the only character to consume broccoli if the MC shows interest in her and refuses to touch or talk to MC if there is no interest.
And the fact that she mocks Maya is because of jealousy. Yes, bad but not a mortal sin.

Adults know the difference between "good" and "bad". There is a point in everyone´s life when there are no more excuses. If you are an awful person is because you want or allow it. Quinn is going to destroy the only HOT that really cares about her (Sage) by doing illegal business with her father.

Also, she engages in prostitution, at least with Tremolo, but probably not only with Tremolo. And manipulates underaged girls in a difficult situation to do the same. About drug trafficking, I don´t know if there is a place in USA or Europe were is legal to sell prescription pills, but I don´t think so. And about marijuana, it´s illegal in most places, except for medical uses, and that´s not the case. Cocaine is not legal anywhere. Also, there are countries in which stoning adulterous women to death is legal. That doesn´t mean that you are morally allowed to throw rocks to your girlfriend´s head if she cheats on you.

I really like Quinn. She´s a GREAT character. The way her relationship with Tremolo is evolving, is gold. From "lame pervert" to "hot guy with magic cock" to "friend" to "love interest in spite of myself". She´s a character designed to make the player to try to save her from herself. And I really would like a good ending for her. But I don´t cheat myself. She has not found redemption so far in the story (I hope she will find at some point) and she´s not a good person right now.

That's even worse...all these characters are fucking degenerates
You're on a porn site, friendo. We're all degenerates. But big-picture, they're just people stereotypes. I've known quite a few like the characters in this game, and I have most certainly helped one or two defile family members' beds at one time or another.
Is telling Heather the truth even an asshole choice tho? i feel like the more asshole thing would be to not tell her the truth.
"Family Comes First", it's the DIK motto. By telling her you have betrayed your fraternity brothers. You broke your vow to those who took you in and put a (fairly nice) roof over your head.

It can be arguable that it's a dick move either way, and Tommy certainly needs his nuts kicked in, but if you weren't spending so much time trying to get on Heather's good side it wouldn't have come up, would it?
This is a regular occurrence for people who play guitar. Didn't you know that?
Everybody knows it's the bassist who keeps the beat.
Love you more than a flower adores the sun.
That there isn't love, it's an abusive relationship of dependency. If you'd literally die without them, you should seek help.
And I would really like to hear how "homosexuality is being promoted in schools", because that sounds like literal fantasy lol
If it were up to me I'd absolutely promote it. It's not for me, but I'd encourage everybody to consider engaging in practices that prevent unwanted pregnancy. Since using condoms is apparently too difficult, and "don't have sex" has never worked, I'd much rather they just fuck their friends. Totally pro-homo in this regard.

I mean, it's not like it can hurt to try.

you don't force desperate girls into prostitution being a nice person who keep others at an emotional distance, you need ot be a dangerous psychopath for that
She is not forcing them, Quinn states several times it's a voluntary thing.

Also, this sex-for-tuition thing happens in real life quite often, statistics show between 2-7% of college girls do some kind of sex work in developed countries like Canada, you can expect that number to be even higher in poorer countries. Some of them are poor and want to build a better life, some of them just like money, some of them have other reasons. You can't say they all are bad people. They're not, I mean some will be bad people, even psychos, but some will not, just like 'regular people'.

Look, bad girls writing 101 states that bad girls are mean, hardened, wild, nasty, control freaks, etc. because they are too vulnerable on the inside, so they create those barriers that keep them emotionally distant to avoid being hurt. In rl some 'bad girls' will be traumatised girls with a heart of gold and some will be cold hearted psychos, but you can't be that inflexible because people are different and yes some people don't change but some people DO change, even murderers sometimes redeem themselves.

And Quinn is a very well crafted example of this behaviour. I can tell she has become Dr.Pinkcake's favourite character so take a seat, relax and enjoy the next chapters.

I think that many people didn't realize that BaDIK is a parody, in a way.

DrPinkCake is not aiming at realism: he is mocking a lot of fiction genres and tropes, people and institutions.

I think Sage and Quinn are the Doctor's favorite characters right now. He admitted in discord that his favorite scene from the update is a conversation between Sage and MС by the pond. In addition, Sage has become very beautiful, almost all of her rendes are perfect and polished. Conversely, Maya and Josie's romantic storyline is the weakest and most boring. I think the Doctor himself yawned when he wrote it.

I've wondered what the subtle exchange between Carla and Bianca meant. They're watching MC play solo (I kicked up the brightness to make it easier to see):

View attachment 1540951

Then Carla taps Bianca on the shoulder:

View attachment 1540952

And makes a hand gesture towards the stage:

View attachment 1540953

And they both continue watching:

View attachment 1540954

I'm not sure what that and the slight change in Bianca's facial expression mean, but it could be interpreted as a "See, I told you he was an OK guy" moment, although I didn't get any negative vibes from Bianca at the dinner party to warrant that type of exchange.

Question: It's possible to help Jill if you didn't go out on the dinner date with her. If you do this, then you haven't met her friends prior to the recital. However, I haven't played that particular route yet. Does anyone know if you still see this exchange between Carla and Bianca if you haven't met them before?

Side note: I'm thinking Jill's dad might have been there, too. A guy wearing a wedding ring is sitting next to her mom. Well, it looks like a guy to me, based on his hands and that he's sitting with his legs spread:

Bianca: " I just came. My panties are really wet now "
Carla: "Me too. Should I throw my panties on stage?"
Bianca: " This is so much better than the time we went to the Nsync and Backstreet Boys Concert. Fuck Justin Timberlake and Nick Carter! Tremelo is way hotter"
Carla: " Did Jill specially mention she's exclusive with him? "
Bianca: " No, I don't think so. "
Carla: " So.... what you saying... there's still a chance, right?"
Bianca: " OMG, I think just came again"

Shazba, do you still have your posts about the BaD girls falling in love with the MC?
Are you talking about this one:

Or are you talking about all those pictorials and shit about Bella, Maya etc. That'd be these ones:

DnG Sally Highlights (I'm not sure if I'm reading her right, but I think it's love)

Some of them are more character exposés than them falling in love, but they're all fun.

M&J is an image of opposites attracting relationships.
M is a reserved introvert, J is afraid of loneliness, therefore too sociable. + They are lesbians. To be honest, I don't know how to make their relationship interesting without drama and tears and problems. Their story is much more interesting to me than the story of Bella who has problems in her head due to lack of sex.

Are you planning on doing one for Riona?
And I'm guessing the Lily one might need an important update after Episode 8.
