I have done all the runs I was interested in, now I would only have to do the negative one by not forgiving Stephanie.
great game, excellent rendering of the relationships between the characters, and the developer seems to know what friendship is and how it works, even the abandoned LIs remain a pleasant companion and not ballasts. of course Holly and Chris shine in this, really valuable.
amazing also h3ant, is aesthetic, Linda initially is unreal ugliness, she looks like a Croods, and I am une who appreciates imperfect beauties rather than cookie-cutter girls, but young Linda is really unwatchable....
too bad for the 2 glaring flaws that bring an almost 5 star game to deserve 4. the first flaw, not so important, is aesthetic, Linda initially is unreal ugliness, she looks like a Croods, and I am une who appreciates imperfect beauties rather than cookie-cutter girls, but young Linda is really unwatchable....
the second flaw, on the other hand, is more important, Drifty, like other developers also falls into the trap of wanting to over-explain something that the less explaining the better. Stephanie's story makes no sense at all, and every time he tried to convince me otherwise it was worse, even comically ruining Stephanie's run, where Cece or Steph directly decide to go over every stage of her past and present history making it even more ridiculous, with MC also trying to convince us by telling us at every opportunity how he now understands Steph's motivations
but those are two flaws in a very good game.
ranking the runs:
1) Cece, no surprises, true protagonist of the story, complicated but empathetic character and easy to empathize with
2) Lexi, second but very close to the first, her run has the virtue of making the concert a top moment and not a diversion
3) Kira and Robin, perhaps a bit cliché, but nice dynamic both with each other and with MC
4) Linda, hers is the run that disappointed me the most, as good were her moments in the overall story as sluggish were the "special" ones in her run. that she becomes a model is uan quite lazy choice
5) Kira and Robin separately, they seemed to me quite artificial runs, just not to waste material already done
6) Steph, her content wouldn't be bad, but the premise that is supposed to hold everything up is too weak for me, and in the narrative is too insistent an attempt to convince us, making it worse.
