Ok, if there are no more surprises and before the usual release commotion, let's make a short recap on what to expect on this v0.180
(this time should I'll be short. Well, kinda
)
This release will contain the resolution of Sam's event from the previous one and a new event at Claire's hairdresser shop with Sophia, Claire, Marie (her daughter) and Dylan. We are expecting around
290 renders, although we still don't know how they will be split among the two events.
The cliffhanger
We were left hanging in the last release, with Sam drawing a completely naked Sophia holding the cello when suddenly we hear Julia about to barge into the room, apparently quite upset with Sam. So obviously the question is whether she will catch them or not.
Please refer to the v0.175
"unpacking" post for all the speculations about that, whether they embrace the "
nothing burger" option, the
getting caught option or the
player choice option.
Note that it was also suggested that one of the reasons for Julia being upset with Sam could be
the hoodie that he lend Ellie the night before when he rescued her at the beach.
Finally, a recent piece of
information from L&P suggested that the
cuckold points may come into action sooner than we may think, thus giving new life to the speculations that Dylan was watching the scene in the bedroom from his house. We'll see what happens, even though it seems something that will have a big impact on the story and on the relationship between Dylan and Sophia right from the new event.
The hairdresser salon
The main event revolves around the visit to Claire's shop to get a
new haircut for Sophia and Dylan. This was already anticipated a while ago and he
hinted at a poll to let the patrons have their choice on the matter.
The hairstyle change has also a technical reason: apparently, the new style should be easier to handle the hairs during the animations done in Blender.
Here were the choices for the new hairstyle and color:
The choice from the poll was B2.

We have been told that this event is
more about Dylan and to progress the story with Marie you need to
play Dylan's POV in the yoga event. It's not clear, though, if even this event will be split into two different POVs like the yoga event.
Teasers
Although we didn't get any teasers for the cliffhanger for obvious reasons, we got another record breaking number of
7 teasers for the hairdresser event.
The first one was to introduce the event showing Sophia and Dylan entering the salon
The next two teasers were more focusing on Marie and Dylan, first to show his new haircut
and then to show them in a ice cream parlor (3 images), probably because he was quickly done and they need to wait for Sophia to finish.
The teasers do not help much in trying to figure out what will happen between the two. One can expect that during the haircut Dylan could e.g. feel Marie's breast with his head, whether she is willingly teasing him or not. But then it is difficult to imagine how the event goes on in the ice cream parlour. Clearly, he has to make some progress as we have been told but there is not much material for speculations. Early speculations (before the teasers) were focusing more on the two being alone in the back of the shop while waiting.
The other teasers were instead focusing on Sophia and Claire left alone by the youngsters. And that's where we got some
spoilers!
In the next 2 teasers we first see Claire with her right hand under to cape grabbing the top of Sophia's right breast
and then Claire with both hands on the top of both Sophia's breasts with the cape partially removed
This seems related to the talk they had in the changing room of the yoga event when Claire was admiring Sophia breasts and Sophia promised to give her some tips:

Since both straps of Sophia's dress
are down it seems like Claire is giving a massage, probably with some oil/ointment (see the little
box on the chair). We know that Claire was already impressed by Sophia's figure and there could be more to it ("maybe" she is bi
L&P said). It was also suggested that it could be to fix
the hickeys from Sam (but that will create some dependencies with the previous event).
Nevertheless, in some playthroughs, this would be the
5th time on the same day that Sophia's breasts get so much attention.
It's also strange that L&P spoiled that much what could be the/one of the highlights of the event. Usually, he just teases without telling much. So it could be also a red-herring (or a bait-and-switch
) as the main content will be with Marie and Dylan, even if we have been reminded that it
will be mild (especially compared to Sam's event).
On that note, early speculations before the teasers were suggesting a sort of
judgment of Paris with Dylan as Paris with the delicate task of choosing the most beautiful woman (or
set of breasts) of the bunch.
Others were suggesting that Sophia during the event might somehow see Dylan being not at ease with approaching/interacting with Marie, which will lead to the next evening's events with some sex-ed to help him to be more confident. Although it has been pointed out that it will generate too many
dependencies for the events to come.
Another line of speculations would see Dylan and Marie walking on Sophia and Claire during the massage or even after the massage: the last teaser unveiled Sophia's look
and one could not notice that both Sophia's straps seem still down under the cape,
suggesting that there could be still
some more action after that. In any case, it will be the fourth time in a few hours that Sophia gets in this dangerous situation.
Finally, at the very last we got a 7th teaser, not much revealing
if it were not for the text that comes with it: "
something to discuss on the way home". That is really teasing as it could refer to many things.
- Of course, it could be the cuckold thing if Dylan watched Sam/Sophia from his house and now it's time for the awkward talk. We didn't see the trip to the hairdresser to see if Dylan was already uncomfortable around Sophia after what he might have seen. He could have been still a bit shocked and decided not to talk at that time. And only now during the trip back home could gather the courage to address the issue.
- It could be again an awkward talk if Dylan walked on Sophia and Claire during or after the massage.
- Or it could be a talk related to Marie and what Dylan did or didn't do during his time with her that would lead to the evening events between mother and son (we see that it is already dark outside).
It's difficult from just the
facial expressions to try to infer which one could be as there could be the usual interpretation bias.
In any case, it feels like this would be the beginning of the discussion. And an ideal place for
another cliffhanger?
A last word about the
number of renders. The initial estimate given by L&P was "around 200 maybe more", to move to "around 200" and end with 290. It makes quite a big release and a quite big event. We don't know the official split between the resolution and the hairdresser event, but even assuming a 50-240 split (and still 50 is a lot for the resolution unless there is more drama), the hairdresser event would be quite a large event. As a reference, it would be in same range as the visit to the beach, spending time with Alyssa, the last tutoring event to name some. It is also true that it will probably have 2 subplots, Claire/Sophia and Marie/Dylan, but after all it **may** be not as mild as it was announced and we could be in for a surprise.
How to get the event.
The event should be available in all routes as it introduces a change (hairstyles) visible in all routes. To get the most out of it, it will be probably required to have played the
Dylan POV in the yoga event (and,
ca va sans dire, chosen all the lewd choices
). Most probably it will be also available in the gallery.
If you don't have the saves and you still want to play it normally with all the options, you might need to set some variables in order to get the event. You can set the variable values with
