how do you play with cheats? the idea is interesting but the gampleay sucks ass i don't want to do a math equation every time i want to do something lol

Been a bit, but I believe its found in the options subsection of the main menu. I believe it is locked behind doing a single playthrough though its just enough to start a game, then immediately exit out and it should show up.

Which version is the most stable? Maybe I'm unlucky but I can't finish even one playthrough because I got those constant freezes/crashes, especially in late game. Now I'm using 45e.

Edit: A lot of restarts but managed to got to first final battle. Didn't expected changing order of actions to avoid freezes is part of game difficulty hehe

You can go to the option in the main menu, press c to enable cheats, then you can play normally but you need to toggle the cheat on first to use it. No need to play first or anything

Additionnal note, (unless it's been changed since I last played) you can add cheats to an already ongoing playthrough, you have to start a new one

Definitely seems familiar, I do have to wonder why they haven't just stopped "testing the waters" here when it is extremely obvious they aren't getting what they want. The game is not going to change to suit a single person's desires with exception to CSDev themselves. There are plenty of other games, they should go find another.

I'm tempted to start reporting for attempting to derail every time they come in here to rage at the game still not bending a knee to them. Not even gonna respond directly, just instant report button.

You can download whichever you like.

The way portraits are done in this game is that you have the regular portrait for a girl. But they also have a non-magical girl portrait (civilian), with 10 different emotions for each. The native game does not (yet) have different portraits for civilian versions so Contemplative Yearning is visually the most complete by having both civilian and magical girl versions of each girl.

After a girl is corrupted at the end of a run during a campaign, she can be recruited as a forsaken, and that's why it's also possible to add forsaken portraits, even if the native game does not (yet) offer different images for it. It's quite nice that the developer CSdev has created the programming for it to use these different portraits.

Then it's also possible for a girl to be animal or undead, which have their own portraits yet again if I'm not mistaken.

What is meant by duplicates is that the same image is used for the girl in different states (civilian - magical - forsaken - animalform)

Please note that the 27 portrait set at the very top does not work with the latest release (45e), but does work with prior versions and is expected to work again with the next release. So if you've got the latest version of the game, it's best to skip that one for now. Otherwise the higher up in the list, the better quality you can expect. If you're unsure what a mod does, I've added a link to the original post offering the mod with the "details" button below the download link for the mod.

The base portraits only have human chosen pictures, nothing for civilian, forsaken, animal, or undead. This post has a number of fan created portrait packs with some being conversions of the base portraits which might include Forsaken portraits, couldn't tell you which ones have Forsaken portraits though since I personally don't use any of the packs.

Heya everyone portrait pack should be finished either sometime near the end of the month or early next month, work schedule has been quite hectic but better late than never I suppose, At the very least there'll be quite a bit of commissioned art for some of the characters.

however the main thing I wanted to say today is splendor's portrait is finished, more details when the release is fully out but similar to Victory's portrait I've included her portrait as a separate download until the rest of the portrait pack is updated so you can add her in if you're using my portrait pack. . . To be honest tho I finished and uploaded it to my mega folder last month but didn't make a post here but because I've been so busy with work.
Either way take a look if you're interested! She's the first undead chosen I've worked on for my pack so some of things I've done with her will seen once I work on the normal undead chosen.
