I thought I had settled on a theme by the time I wrote that post. Apparently not. The game will be themed around superheroes, though not quite in the traditional way. You'll play two characters (one male, one female). The male main character is a photographer who gets dragged into a dangerous conspiracy and ends up under the protection of a superhero group who is led by the female main character.

You will hear more about the story later. Suffice to say, it's pretty solid by now. And if you're impatient, there's a lot more information available to the $10 tiers and above, but also quite a bit on the Discord server for any level of support.

The overview gave me flashbacks to "Speed Grapher" (Anime from 2005

). Dark and kind of fucked up anime but still good.

The mashup of photog and superheroes as the main theme seems novel. Can't wait to check out your take on it.

And i don't wanna be rude, so - yes, the game is affected by the Patreon rulz, thats why there is two versions of the game - patreon, that fit for them and non-patreon, as the game is ment to be.

Oh yeah, forgot an important part of the description above. Superheroes are on a decline in the world of this game, getting downright unpopular with most people. In an effort to combat this, the male photographer is asked to take promotional photos of the superheroes in the group. As the game progresses and this PR stunt proves to be surprisingly effective, the photo sessions grow more and more explicit.

I hope that the male MC won't be just some run-of-the-mill normal guy who just so happens to also be a sex-machine. I hope he has some other skills going for him, I like when my protagonists have some secrets and/or useful talents (like the magic powers of LLTP).

i.e I hope that female MC doesn't end up doing all the cool and fun adventure stuff while the male MC ends up being the Lois Lane of the story.

Don't worry. I'm an experienced storyteller by this point, so there is a purpose behind these characters. They each have a role to play, though they are quite different from each other. The male MC is not a surrogate protagonist, so he will have a predetermined name, history, motivation, and everything else that goes with a story like this.

The two MCs are clearly not equal in terms of power, however. After all, the male MC is a jobless, young photographer, while the female MC is the CEO of a powerful superhero organization with journalists knocking on her door more or less every day. And yet, she sees something in this young photographer that makes her take him under her wing. What she sees, however, will have to remain a mystery for now.

I have to wonder why you would ever ask that. In which way is spending the effort to ask this question more convenient then just, you know, directly reading the readily available answer? Clicking the Patreon link would give you the answer immediately. Reading the last page(s) of the discussion would give you the answer. Clicking on the developer’s profile would quickly give you the answer.

Any of these would be much quicker and less or equal effort to waiting for an answer.

Will it be possible to only play the Male? Duo protags always seem to be a big miss for me. It always either goes into cuck territory or one gets the focus.

No, but please don't use the average adult game structure as a basis for comparison. I aim higher than that with my ambitions, and I have studied narrative structure and character archetypes enough that I know what I'm doing with them.

There won't be any "cucking" or NTR, at least in the way I understand the words. There will be lesbian content that doesn't involve the male MC, but that's about it.

The two characters are likely to get an equal amount of focus in the story, though you'll spend more time with the male MC due to him being the only one of the two to use the central card game mechanic.

Well, the update is more or less done. I'm going to let it stew for two more days or so, but I would expect it to be out on Thursday or Friday (probably the former).

uhm.. can anyone help me solve this, please! The thing is I downloaded and extracted then i put someone else saves into the game save location and now most of the gallery is unlocked. Which is great at first cuz i want to see what the game animations and art style look like before playing it. And yes i love it but now i want the gallery to be back to the state where its not unlocked.I tried deleting the saves, reinstall the game but the gallery was still mostly unlocked. Any idea? PLs help me out.

On Windows, the gallery settings are kept in a file called "persistent" which lives in C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\LongLiveThePrincess-1502893155. Delete that file and the gallery should be reset.
