It's very good as a game and a story. I feel like the story makes rape scenes different in this game; instead of hot porn you can wank to, it actually feels horrific in a way you'd expect rape to be. It juxtaposes "rape" the fantasy, where it's all about the sexual sensations, sounds, and roleplay, versus "rape" the happening, which is a traumatic event. It's pretty unfappable a lot of the time. Yet as a fan of these kinds of stories, I appreciate the depiction more for it - it feels like a game with sex in it more than a game for sex, in that kind of way. Mechanically the gear, customization, and combat is okay. People say it's not as difficult as it can be, though the boss fights actually have structure that feels like a legitimate game boss, more than a lot H-games where the boss feels like a bigger enemy in a room.

That said, if you want the opposite kind of experience - rape for fun, difficult to the point of ludicrous, boss fights that feel cheesy but remain difficult along everything else, try Pain Re:in. So the latter is a game you play for the sex, and the earlier a game where you probably don't.


I feel like the combination of "atmosphere of sadness" and "erotic to watch" is a core part of the experience along with the combat flow of attack, dodge, and parry. In that respect the Lutellaria and Setalia games I mentioned earlier in my post after I remembered them feel most similar. That said, those are futa protagonist games and they involve gunplay a bit more than swordplay, but in the ways these games differ from NoR, they still feel comparably enjoyable.

And frankly NoR missed by a mile with combat difficulty because it's too easy, but

Honestly, I wouldn't reply to this guy, sageproduct, since his whole schtick is to appear in threads of porn games that have rape in them and then either write how people who like rape in these games are fucked in the head, or to write giant paragraphs of how sad the game in question is. That or write how he would fight everyone (both in-game enemies and real people in the thread) to protect the in-game character from fictional rape.
All in all just a messed up individual, disregard his antics for your own sake, unless you like talking to a robot that will reinterpret anything you say with an argument "fiction=real life, you're a pyscho".
EDIT: This is also not even close to being his first appearance in this specific thread, he already posted here with essentially the same points somewhere around when the full version first released. He seems to return here (and some other threads) whenever he feels that he wants to "call out" how terrible people are that dare enjoy fictional rape content.

You can buy alternate outfits at the witches shop which is in the city fairly early in the game. Karma is gained from various events and saving the girls you find around the maps, as long as you explore every map you will get enough karma.

I got a glitch that won't let me read NPC diaries at all so I straight can't progress. Is there anyone else that got this problem and if so, how fix?

The regulars on this thread have seen people talk about this bug so many times and reposted the solution so many times that they don't answer anymore, and most of them likely muted (ignore) the thread.

The "journal / diary glitch" is fixed by having the right download for the game, which is probably not any of the ones in the first post. Try Krongorka's repack posted on this thread multiple times, fairly recently too IIRC.

From There It's on a case by case basis for how you want to set up your controls. Or if it even runs for you. Be patient, if it freezes, don't tap, it is actually loading. If it doesn't load after you give it adequate time, exit out of the game and redo, it might have actually frozen.

Don't judge the buttons, I was just getting it playable to see how well it worked. Honestly spells are okay, but doing things quickly will take practice. I'll be moving my own buttons around to see what plays Best for me. But the control profile is on the bottom for those that want it.

I've tried to do it but when i click the .exe file, it just doesn't do anything, my mouse cursor still can be moved. Is this device issue or skill issue?

Does this update have large sinner slave's defeat (getting hung on the large sinner slave) ? If not, can you tell me which version have that ?
