Thanks for the detailed response. It's actually funny that the only Ren'Py games I can remember coincide with places on your Tier List that either my brain missed or myself. Thanks for the Being a DIK recommendation (with all due respect to you, I'm just afraid to touch it) and the mention of Doki-Doki (which I'd forgotten even existed on the engine). It's good to know you're among
straight and mindful of classics such as Doki-Doki, but that's not really the point. I don't know if you've heard of a game like
The Fixer. It's a good game (and made on Ren'Py!), which I originally thought was a winning ticket until it lost a little of its importance in the. . . aftermath.
In general, it upsets me to see how the community here is set up when dictating a simple opinion on other
tier lists just starts showering you with crap just because you don't support the sentiments of their authors. It's only been one day, and I've already been insulted and bombarded with generations-long notations and. . . I don't know why. This is a forum, a place where people focus, and if you don't learn to listen, you will subsequently become
unable to speak. Among the variety. . . all of them, you're
the only one who has normally and reasonably stated your truly
PERSONAL opinion and adequately discussed it not with tools from above, but with
yourself. That's why,
having changed the past rules a bit, I've decided to give you mine for the best of everything. Not now, a little later, but
I will.
It would be a shame to write half a serenade of parsing to a person who doesn't give a damn about their opinion and the opinion of others, and forget about the person who really cares about it
more than anything.
