Do you have the polyamory mod enabled? The behavior (at least before the latest round of unstable updates) was that starting a relationship when you are already married makes you married to both people. I'm going to see if I can reproduce your behavior in the most recent version.

EDIT: With the Polyamory mod enabled, it all works as expected. I didn't spot any bugs in my (admittedly speedy) test run.
i think all the base game mods are enabled, and thank you so much for checking it, i appreciate it mate

I really hope the stable really is stable. Another problem is NPCs, especially prostitutes reverting to default. They lost all PYG prostitution, modeling and porn stats, revert to default age (18 as I modified the age.lpstats file so there aren't so old ones) and 50 in attractive, fitness, intelligence and such. 3.0 has been chock-full-of-errors so far. Better now but like a couple were almost unplayable and beta 4 still has very serious problems. Hopefully doesn't require past 3.0 stable to make it work as well as pre-3.0 game. What we had in late February.

you can't seriously expect the game to work perfectly with a mod that hasn't been updated in months after going through such huge changes during the overhaul. Frankly, that fact that the PYG mod is still playable at all is already a pretty decent outcome considering the circumstance. I can do what I can on my end to mitigate, but sb does use API functions very creatively it's impossible to do everything on my end (without breaking vanilla stuffs) without him coming back and updating his mod.
If PYG is that important to you, you probably should just play LifePlay v2.19
I can only make sure the vanilla game works and mitigate potential issues with existing mods as much as I can do on my end to hopefully make old mods at least somewhat playable - to make sure mods work perfectly with v3.0, modders will have to update their mods.
Besides, it's a game under development - which one do you prefer? Me being lazy and not doing anything ambitious, just adding new animations and scenes every update for the rest of the project, to make sure that there can't be new bugs and that existing mods work forever? Or actually trying to improve the game with ambitious new systems, which may mean that bugs and mod incompatibilities need to be sorted out gradually? Trust me, the former would have been a hell lot less work for me.

3.0 Stable includes a public beta testing period before the official release. So, here are the links for those wanting to help beta-test this version (or just really impatient). No previous beta testing experience is required - it's as simple as playing the game normally and report any bugs you encounter.
(Update 1 May PM: Added RC3, which is likely to become the official v3.0 Stable release tomorrow unless major bugs are reported before then)

The beta testing period will last around 36 hours, aiming for official release of v3.0 Stable (which will include the rest of the platforms and mirrors of course) on Saturday, 2 May.
My preferred channel to receive bug reports from beta testers is via Discord. But a reply here would do too.
If you're not interested in beta-testing the game and are not super impatient to try out the new content in this version, it's recommended to just wait a bit more for the final v3.0 Stable releases.

Change Log:
- Change the NPC spawning for scenes so that there can ever one copy of each specific NPC existing in the game at any point (For example, if a scene triggers involving your girlfriend and she's already in the bedroom with you - there shouldn't be a clone of hers being spawned in - but she should simply walk towards you to start the scene). This also ensures that any stat changes to NPCs, whether from scenes or interactions, actually get saved.
- Add a system to prioritize triggering scenes that involve NPCs already in the same location as the player so that scenes feel more relevant and less random.
- Add new API functions myself and modders can use, which allow more control over what characters do during scenes now that they're in a fully 3d space all the time and not in a 'visual novel' scene anymore.
- Add some essential camera auto-adjustments so that you don't end up outside the interior space or in awkward angles (which can happen whenever you move from a big interior to a small interior for example)
- Some further performance optimizations, especially with regards to loading furniture assets, and also in terms of reducing the (currently huge) jump in performance costs between a small map (like Central Bath) and a big map (like Central London)
- Bug fixes and other improvements
The AI and Interaction Overhaul is considered 'done' with this v3.0 Stable update, as all the systems and basic assets for them will have all been added and the game will be perfectly playable with the new AI and Interaction gameplay. However, there will continue be a few more future updates spread out in the v3.x versions that add more assets to work with the new systems like more daily activity animations (a bit lacking in variety right now because I only had one update, i.e. v3.0 Beta 2, so far for animating work), more AI packages, more interactions, more 3d location presets etc.

Vinfamy Was in a bar a random scene triggerd, after the scene the room reverted back to the base outside room(Stone floor blank walls) the same people were still there just no bar.

keep getting ' Oh baby your the only man I want in my life right now' or something along those lines appering above my head. I am playing a straight male btw, at home alone(Or was he just talking to himself lol)

Somehow managed to get the main game running whilst having sex(Time was passing and game speed indecators up), not sure what caused this. But if another scene triggerd, whilst already in a scene, who knows what could have happend.

Take over business, causes a complete game lockup. new game lincoln, tried bar and gym. Had to task manager to quit.
Ok it isnt setting up a business, its just a random lockup on any action with a timer, had it happen 3 times on diffirent actions, but they are all currently working again?

Does this fix the random characters showing up in scenes/sex scenes in t poses? Also, is "porn scenes respect orientation" here or future? Really wish sb would come back to fix not just non-compatibility but also update. Still some minor errors (mostly wording/not understanding female pimps/male prostitutes.)

Maybe I can give you some inspiration for the game mode change:
If you want to continue to abandon the visual novel style, random trigger event game mode, and then change to the point-to-point NPC interactive game mode.

Vinfamy Really, dude, when I see this game based on real city map, I think it's a great game, isn't it? It's a sense of substitution. You can play in the familiar cities and streets. You can even move people you know in reality into the game and do whatever you want. As long as you're bored, you can even buy the whole map of the building. LOL. Do some crazy things in the game that can't be done in real life. Let go of your own ideas. What you are doing now is a very potential game, although it is an hgame. That's why I like the game and pay attention to it.

It's not enough to just choose clothes for NPC. You have to buy them for NPC and let NPC really own them. Then they will only appear in the clothes you choose for them.

on Patreon you also wrote about an update of the documentation (functions, Guides etc.). As far as i read in the docs section of RC3 there is nothing new or changed. Will this update come with the final relases of 3.0?

So far i didn't encounter any major problems with RC3. Runs smooth on my rig until now.

Good work (as always), already looking forward for the next update ;)

Modding docs will be midweek next week, updated Docs will come with the Github commit for this update. Since it's called v3.0 Stable, I preferred to spend the last 48 hours before release on bug hunting. Docs can wait another week or so

Vinfamy OK latest version bug, Although it could be from before that, havent seen this scene in a while. Girlfriend out with coworkers visited, went to bathroom came back. Everyone including PC is invisable! whent back home still invisible, can see speech above the head moving around as PC moves but no models, changed location still invisable.
Had to save quit and reload to get PC back again. Not sure if it was a scene thing or what will let you know if it happens again.
Ok this is strange I havent seen that scene in ages, then it triggers again withing 10 minutes! Same as last time after the peep in toilet scene everyone is invisible.

Also I have to say, I do agree with some of what vampire899 was saying for me as well the whole focus on rooms although great for scenes, has somewhat taken away from the game a little for me. This may just be because its a big change and by nature a lot of people dont tend to like large changes.
However I have a simple sugestion to sort it. A focus toggle in the settings, focus on room or map when a scene ends.
So if clicked on it takes you to the map if off it takes you to the room. This keeps everyone happy, Personaly I would carry on whatever, the ability to interact with random npc's is a massive benifit, but I do find myself constantly clicking to go back to the map view now.
